Comment:

Dr. Bart is an amazing professor, but he is retiring after the fall semester. He was extremely knowledgeable about his subject matter, not to mention was hilarious while teaching it. I learned a lot in his class and hope others will take it as well. There are quizzes every Friday and the field trips are great because they supplement the material.

He gives us a quiz every Friday and usually none of us are prepared. Provides us with no resources to study from online. We just have to go from the lectures (which he doesn't post online) He doesn't give you any of the quizzes back to study from. everyone fails everything ( he's the one doing something wrong!!!) expects us to go beyond but he wont

Im a business major and got an A in the class. The fact is you have to go to all his classes and read the textbooks to do well. I would just highlight things in my class notes with things in the textbook. Also, there are quizzes every Friday but if you read everything and highlighted then just make flash cards on Thursday and youll do fine.

Dr. Bart definitely favors students in his major. He is unorganized when lecturing and often goes off topic which is greta and frustrating. His quizzes and labs are easy and he teaches right from the textbook, you just follow along. He is funny and humorous and makes class interesting which makes up for his unorganized and repetitive lecture. Easy

STAY AWAY. There is no reason for this man to be teaching. It is my suggestion no one signs up for his class so he is forced to leave. His quizzes are unfair, grading is senseless. He spends most of every class talking about the ONE time a reporter asked him a question about weather. He picks favorites like no other teacher i have ever seen. POOR

Should go to all classes, he hates late ppl and you'll do fine once you show interest. Take good notes. I think he's funny. Lab trips were fun.

Good professor, very helpful after labs. will give you a decent grade so long as you show effort. fun field trip. quiz every week over notes/chapter. I'd definately take this class over any other natural science course.

Poor lecture organization, repetitive lab topics and arbitrary grading scheme makes this class one of those shining example of professor incompetence. Class is Easy enough, but you won't learn anything you couldn't pick up from some second rate natural park tour guide.
