Terrible professor. She taught a multiculturism in education and taught part of it in Spanish with non spanish speaking students. When this was pointed out she said it was not her problem and we needed to deal with it. I have since taught college classes and use her as an example of how not to instruct.

LOL first of all, she doesnt lecture at all. she just talks about whatever comes to mind. she has serious mood swings and isnt clear about assignments. her personality outside of class however is VERY fun and easy going. i dont want to take another class with her thank you very much.

Very helpful professor. She will help you in anyway she can as long as you approach her the right way. She is a hard grader but fair. She is very hard on attendance so you want to show up everyday. Her lectures and discussions have alot of content and provide you with information you may not have known before. Overall great professor

In the beginning of the semester, her class was very intimidating. But you eventually get used to her style and come to understand her expectations better. I had a great time in this class and learned a lot. She was a tough grader and assigns a ton of work. But if you do it all you'll be on her good side and will be set for the course.

Overall good teacher. Sometimes unclear about expectations of assignments. Cares about students and wants them to do well. Helps to be on her good side. An interesting and fun professor. I would rather take her classes than taking Parada's. She has a teaching style that is her own. If you read and participate, there should be no problem that you get an A or a B. I've learned more with her than I have with some of the other instructors at Brockport.

She is an intelligent profesor. Some students feel intimidated by her because she is a strong LATINA WOMAN who does not take crap from anyone. If you pay attention, do your work and ask for her help then you will do fine. The reason she has bad ratings is because some people can't handle criticism.
