Mr. Martorano is a really awesome professor. He is always there for his students. He gives you the test questions word for word in order a week in advance and all you have to do is go home and memorize the answer right out of the textbook word for word.

When I look for a great vocal coach, I hope to find an inspiring educator; but I was wrong. Mr. Martorano has the most ill-conceived attitude of anyone I know. I had high school coaches that were more effective than him. He constantly looks at the clock to make sure that I'm not wasting his time. Evidently, he uses pessimism on a daily basis!

Temperamental, and uses constant negative reinforcement to get a point across. I've heard from many other colleagues that he's difficult to work with, and practically never shows optimism on any level. Enough said.

mr. martorano is a good guy, but i wouldn't call him a good teacher. the labs are alright (except for when he wants you to touch his chest), but when we get to class we mainly just go out of the book and don't really expand on much. meh.
