He is an awesome teacher. He starts every class with a funny or interesting Youtube video. He keeps lectures interesting and helps relate difficult material to things students can understand.

This class took the most work out of all my classes. The 20 min powerpoints just copied the book, and gave no clarity to what to take from the information given in the book. If biology is something of strong interest tough it out otherwise don't bother with the class or teacher.

They just changed the structure of the class this year back to how it used to be. The glass is run by group work every day and worksheets done with the group. I DO NOT like it and I think it's not a very engaging way to teach students biology.

By trying to make the class easy, he makes it boring. You can tell he knows people don't care about the class, so he teaches it that way. It doesn't seem like he tries to stimulate interest in the topics covered and I would even go as far as to say he isn't really that interested in it. To his credit, he is nice.

He's a very good teacher, i dint take this maths class, coz it clashd with his class....so u can guess how good he is...hes got sense of humor and makes the class intresting. i like the way he keeps us intouch with the current affairs related to Biology.hes a good advisor too!

Dr. Bennett is one awesome professor for Bio212: Microbiology. Or actually, he's one awesome professor for any of his classes.I've had two classes with him and i've totally enjoyed being taught by him. He's got a great sense of humor,and man i love those videos he plays before class begins. His notes are very well presented and he can really reach.
