Comment:

10000/10 would recommend Rusmore. Geography is not an easy subject for me but he makes the class extremely easy to pass. He's very understanding and caring and will work with you if needed. Great Professor, wish more were like him!

I was never really into science, however Dr. Rusmore's class was a pleasure to be in. His class is a lot of work but if you are willing to put in the effort then it will be enjoyable. I never skipped any of his classes because I enjoyed going to them The exams and paper are tough so don't procrastinate. But overall do the work and you will be fine

Dr. Rusmore is great, but the tests are extremely difficult relative to the lectures and homework assignments. He grades on a curve; if he hadn't, the high score would have been a 58% on the midterm.

He is a great teacher. You are expected to review the textbook and the notes in order to do well on the tests, but he does grade on a curve. You have to write a 10 page paper which isn't too hard because he gives you a well established rubric. I recommend his class to fulfill the general education requirement.

He is a challenging and fair professor. He grades tests on a curve, which allowed me to get an A every time and even an A+ on the final. The grade you receive is an effective indicator of the amount of work you put in. I recommend him if you aren't lazy and can actually take in intellectual information that is given to you.

Comment:

Professor Rusmore is one of my all time favorite instructors. I learned so much from him. Infinitely patient and kind, he cares about the students learning the material. Returns HW, quizzes and tests incredibly fast. One knows their grade day by day. This class is not to be taken for granted. True to the material his exams are rigorous.Exc.class!

The workload in this class can be overwhelming with a small chapter or map quiz almost every week, 3 exams with multi-choice and written per exam, and a 10-12 pg research paper. It's a lot of work but Dr. Rusmore is the best instructor I have ever had. His classes are never boring and his grading is more than fair. Want to learn? take it.

He is very nice!!! Yet his tests are not nice at all!!! Hard time to get a B on both mid term tests. FINAL is ridiculous long - you have to study every chapters. Well if you can remember all the facts in the book then its good for u!! Overall he is easy but not easy!!! love GEOG then take it. Not interesting then should not!!!

Professor very helpful and enjoyable. The class itself is hardest I have taken in a long time. Tests are difficult, the material is very extensive and he goes really fast. 1 chap a class-fast! Final is comprehensive. Lecture attendance key to know what will be on the exam. He does grade on a curve. One rather large research paper is also required.

I'm taking Dr. Rusmore right now. The class itself is rather hard. I study very hard just to get a high D on the second midterm. The professor itself is very nice and approachable.I'm not a big fan of GeoG so i'm not really enjoying alot of the stuff so far. Take him if you love Geog and really want to learn.

Perks: Exams are graded on a curve. Helpful. Knows the subject well. Has traveled the world. Powerpoint lectures. Personal grade-sheet handout freq given. he is dabomb he grades on a curve and he is very fair. a lot of material on the test but if u study the chapters you'll be fine!! he is a great person overall i loved Dr.Rusmore, one of my favorite teachers
