I heard some horror stories from some other people who had Mosaic, but with Professor Zuggi, you'll actually learn something and enjoy the topics! Yeah, he has a specific sense of humor that not everyone gets, but I found him awesome and hilarious. As long as you go to class and do the readings, you'll LOVE this class. I highly recommend.

Comment:

Boring, makes terrible and inappropriate jokes, attendance is EXTREMELY strict (you only have 1 unexcused absence). For every reading assignment you must submit 5 discussion questions and a summary. Two exams and some pop quizzes. Overall Zuggi isn't that bad but I wouldn't recommend him.

Zuggi is very strict on attendance, but a great guy. He makes the lamest jokes but it's still hilarious for some reason. Very cool guy, helpful and as long as you attend class and do the homework you can't fail.

Prof Zuggi is GREAT! He is extremely helpful! His class discussions are great. He doesn't talk the whole class time. He's always interested in what you have to say. Def a great teacher! Just show up to class and do the homework (which is a little lengthy but EASY), do most of the readings, make a smart comment in class and you're guaranteed an A!

Joseph is a good professor, his quiz are are not that hard if you read the book and remember certain things, also there is a lot of class discussions, do not take his class if you do not like to write a TEN Page paper, that's all you get is a ten page paper with no internet sources , but other than that the class is okay!

He's great. He doesn't require you to come to class, but you don't ever want to miss it. You'll never look at Thomas Jefferson, Freud, the American Revolution, or the world the same way again after you've had him. One of Temple's best.

Everyone said such good things about him so i was excited to take the class, but ive found that he makes you feel stupid sometimes. I dont like his approach to teaching and hes not very funny

You know your the luckiest student alive when you find out HE's your prof! Class is exciting informative, and challenging and fun. He loves his subject and really enjoys what and who he teaches. The guy carries the Declaration of Independence around in his wallet! What's not to love? The best ever.

I thought he was a great teacher. He used to be a stand up comedian so he does have a tendency to tell a lot of jokes. His focus is mostly on Greek literature, but I was kept interested. If you get him, I would definetly recommend his class.

The best professor EVER. He's an amazing teacher. Joe is brilliant, a really solid historian, and structures the class really well to make you challenge your understanding of history, literature, philosophy, and everthing else he's an EXPERT on. Don't miss this guy!!!!!

Zuggi is the coolest guy ever. Really down to earth, really nice, always more than willing to help. If you have any questions at all, he tries very hard to answer. Makes everything interesting b/c he doesnt take it all too seriously. One of the best professors i've ever had.

Joe is the BEST history/literature prof I've ever had. He's very smart and really truly cares about his students. He's also hilarious, down-to-earth, a snappy dresser (pheasant ties) and yes, he's very easy on the eyes.
