I'm not that great in english, but I got a B, almost an A. She does have BO problems on most days(I had her tuesday/thursday, so I could only imagine what other days are like). Aside from the 3 or 4 annoying nervous laughs every minute, she's not that bad in class. Conferences are good - write what she comments about.

I think that this woman is related to Hitler. Not only is she intimidated by sophisticated writing, but if you do not write in her style, she will flunk you in a heartbeat! Plus she has the most annoying nervous laugh on the planet and the worst BO to ever dwell on a human being.

i would take her again if i had to. she is an awesome engl teacher. for the 1st time ever, i actually read the material for this class and if you're like me, engl isn't a strong point. i got an A and didn't really have to do anything but read and go to class. no studying necessary for quizzes/exams. very good teacher and definitely recommend her

I would recommend Dr. McGhee. She gives easy quizzes on reading assignments to boost your grade. She has a mandatory conference for each paper where she edits & fixes stuff. We had three papers & our final was a group powerpoint presentation on the final paper. Just get on her good side & she will do anything to help. she's a big environmentalist!

The girl who took up time made this class easier for everyone, so I'm not going to complain. Class was easy, not a bad choice. Read some and you'll do okay. There was a lot of As and Bs from what I understand.

Worst class ever!! We had the most horrible books to read, and she took forever in trying to explain it all. It didn't help that we had the most annoying girl in the world in our class, who would argue about the stupidest stuff just to take up time. I recommend someone else

Boring class. If you do all of your assignments she asks you to do you should be fine. She grades papers pretty hard and it is almost impossible to get an A. Overall, very nice and helpful, but not the best english teacher I have ever had.

Hard test questions, but fair essay grader which is good b/c the 2 essays are worth 15 and 20% and the 2 tests + final are all at least half essay each. Plus you have daily quizzes that are easy if you read spark notes over twice, these make up for 20% of your final grade and hlep out alot.

She is one of the worst teachers I have had. She tries to make like she will help you out all she can but she doesn't. She promises more than she does. She is very unclear about what she wants and then punishes you for it! I would advise not taking her!
