Comment:

All around Spicer is the lowest quality professor I've had. One example of this is the fact that we took the final before he had graded and returned test 1. The class was over before you realized you were doing poorly. I really don't have anything good to say about his classes. If not for tenure he would be fired for sure.

Comment:

Spicer is nice unless you make him mad. Hardest class, required and he is the only professor. He tries to help you understand but its useless. And if you don't understand then tough luck because he won't change his teaching to try and help you. He uses the book alot but doesn't agree with how the writers portray some stuff. Remember Ds get diplomas

Dr. Spicer is a nice guy, but a horrible teacher. His lectures largely consist of copying the solution to the homework on the overhead and then assigning another homework assignment. When he does derive/explain things, it is of little help. Furthermore, you don't get assignments graded until the end of the semester and he is a very difficult grader

Dont expect to learn anything in lectures (although there are attendance points). He doesnt help with homeworks, there are 3 homeworks every week, and the textbook is not very helpful. Do not take him of you dont need to.

Spicer is a nice guy, but is just too busy to be teaching. A little sensitive, but he's ok. Did try to pawn our low production off on our laziness while completing ignoring his.

Spicer Sucks Big Time...Bottom line is he's the only one who teaches Safety so you gotta bear with him...CAUTION: He is the biggest slacker ever! Don't expect to get back all your tests, H.W. etc...until 1 week before the final. If you get a B in this class you are lucky...!

Pretty good teacher. He even set fire to some volatiles for a class demonstration. Neat-O. Be sure to memorize your definitions. Interesting class.
