This class was very unfortunate.The books were not bad, the work was tedious and there was a lot of it. It was an online class and she became very strict.She graded everything very tough and twisted everything into an extreme, feminist perspective.She gave me a C in the end becuase my views weren't feminist enough! RIDICULOUS!!

TERRIBLE! she give soooooo much hw is crazy. her class is so pointless & gives the hardest test! you have to go to class every day & she makes you fall asleep. She knows her stuff but can be confusing & spends the whole class talkin about hw. take her class if u can go to class every day & have time to do hw for 2 hours every night. LOTS OF HOMEWOR

Boring class. cant teach. has nothing to do with history--- all the hw articles are about jesus getting killed by the romans. gives dumb hw assignments every single day that take 2 hrs to complete, and makes such a sad attempt to make the class fun (it gets more mundane trust me) bottom line. this class' title is a misnomer.

Had her for Women & Theology. Interesting class. She might come off as very strict, but she does lighten up throughout the semester. She is boring at times, but just do enough reading and you'll do fine on her tests. Her tests are all open book with the aid of index cards for extra notes. Just do all the work she assigns. I recommend her.

She's a nice person but a strict teacher. No food, drink, sleeping/dozing/blinking too long, laptops, talking, cellphones. She tries to keep your interest but fails most of the time. Is sensitive to in class criticism of both topic and teaching method. Tries to wean answers out of the class constantly. Do the reading! She assigns ALOT of bible hw.

I dreaded going to class. Boring lectures, ridiculous exams, and papers. I was upset with the class, but if you do your work and study for the test you will pass. The more you write the happier she is. Dont take this class if you are looking for an easy A!!!!

Professor Kirk is a great professor. If you can make theology SOMEWHAT interesting, than you deserve some credit. She counts 2/3 tests and gives small papers every now and then. It may seem like a lot of work but it isn't bad. Her tests are up-front and she tells you what to study. A boring class, but a great teacher.
