Comment:

Mr. Mitchell is a FANTASTIC teacher. I am very shy, so this type of class had me sooo nervous, but the professor made this class so easy and enjoyable even for the Exams and Final. You do need to stay on top of your work, but this was definitely my best experience out of all my college courses.

Libardo is a great professor and has a great sense of humor, which is a HUGE plus for me. You must attend and participate in order to keep up with the coursework and pass. The class can be fast paced, but you will be fine if you study, practice, and complete all of the assignments on time.

LIBARDO IS THE BEST!!! Honestly, he is so kind and so sweet. He genuinely cares about his students and just wants everyone to pass. I am so glad I took his class. Yes there is probably too much homework, but ending the class in an A I can thank the amount of homework he assigned. He is awesome!!!

Libardo is truly an amazing teacher! It was such an honor to take his class! He truly cares about his students and does an amazing teaching style in his course that is extremely effective. He is more than willing to help out any of his students!

Libardo is amazing. He is an EXCELLENT teacher who is passionate about teaching his language. He will give you a LOT of opportunities to practice the language. There are homework to do, it's true, but come on, you are learning a language. Don't listen to students who complain about the amount of homework. Take Libardo's class, it's really worth it.

You have to work hard for an A, especially with no Spanish background. 3 exams, 1 oral, and a quiz. He likes when you ask him questions in Spanish. Attendance is absolutely crucial to your participation grade. Force yourself to only speak in Spanish in class. Don't be afraid to make oral mistakes! No late work.

Libardo cares and makes every effort to assure your success. You must attend, participate, and study, but you will learn Spanish if you make the effort. An excellent teacher and an inspirational person. Er es muy simpatico!

Prof. Mitchell is the nicest guy. Funny in a quiet way. Caring. Learning a language is hard at first but he puts you at ease. PCC uses VHL supersite online which is where 1/2 the technical info you get comes from which is GREAT. Love VHL. Class is conversation and practice. Mitchell is great. No fear taking his class.

Libardo is an EXCELLENT teacher. I've just signed up for SPA 103 (my third term with him). He's extremely clear on what he wants from the class and very very willing to help. I've truly struggled learning the language and he has been very understanding and encouraging. Not an easy A if you're not willing to put the work in.

I am taking this professor next term. He was very helpful and gave students his full priority and attention. I can tell that he truly does care about his students success. I would highly recommend this teacher. If you do well enough you will get to skip the final, but be prepared for lost of assignments and participation truly does matter.

Libardo is an excellent professor. He has a genuine desire to teach his class, and he wants everyone to participate. If you get stuck or have a problem, talk to him. He is always willing to give you direction or suggestions on how to better learn the materials. Prepare for many hours of homework taking this course though.

Libardo is amazing! He is by far the best instructor I have ever had at PCC. He was always helpful and there for his students whenever they needed it. If you actually want to learn Spanish Libardo is the person to learn it from. He encouraged us to speak only in Spanish, which was intimidating at first but really helped me learn the language.

I enjoyed taking Spanish with Señor Libardo for the past year. He is extremely friendly. He pushes you to only speak Spanish in class which helped me a lot once I got over my fear of only being able to communicate with others in Spanish and not English. He wants you to succeed and he gives you the material to do it. Me encanta esta clase.

Libardo is a good guy. He is not, however, the teacher I would have wanted had I been warned of his teaching style. Not recommended for someone completely new to learning Spanish. If you have had three years prior in HS you will be fine. Fast pace, high volume of homework and little clarity in class. If you are signing up for Libardo get a tutor.

He was really nice and friendly. He took the time to explain (in detail) anything you were confused on. *hint* he strongly believes in speaking ONLY Spanish throughout his class. He's from Columbia so the natural Spanish accent is PERFECT and HELPFUL to learn how to pronounce things correctly. PLEASE TAKE HIM

¡Libardo es el mejor! Most easy-going prof I've ever had el placer of meeting. Willing to help, very approachable. His instructional métodos and how he presents himself in class are engaging & relatable. You're guaranteed to learn Spanish si intentas. Libardo is INCREDIBLE. This might sound like an exaggeration but I think he's the best professor I've ever had after 5 years of college. He cares about his students, cares about their learning styles & will go above & beyond to help in anyway that he can. On top of this, he makes class time FUN! Basically, stop reading & go sign up for his course!
