Comment:
I agree with another poster about her treating questions as if it were a critique on her credibility. One student asked a question and she basically called her stupid without actually saying the word. Her reaction was unnecessary and solidified the general consensus about her personality. Despite this she is very knowledgeable about PR.

Very rude, has no issue with calling out your mistakes to the class instead of just writing feedback on papers. Not very helpful if you do ask for help, and will probably make you feel as if your question was stupid. She does know her stuff however and I've definitely improved with writing. Easy to pass if you proofread everything and go to class

Great Professor! I had her for both classes. She really knows her stuff, tough grader for class assignments/hw but you will undoubtedly improve by the final. She is understanding and allows extensions if you just email before. Bring AP style book to every class. I received many PR job offers because of how well she prepares you! TAKE HER!

I hated her as a person. She was very rude and answers questions from students as if you were attacking her credibility every time. She is very grammar and spelling conscious so if you make a mistake you're not gonna do well. She turned me off of PR when I really wanted to know more about it. I don't like her.

Helpful if you ask for it. She's challenging and is a hard critic, but you learn a lot in the class. A LOT of writing, but because of it I'm a much better writer.

You don't learn anything different from the intro writing courses, but if you follow AP style, do exactly what she says and zone out during her 30-minute periods of yelling about nothing, you'll do more than fine

Had her for Desktop Publishing with Miskoff - BLAH. She's very "PR" ish. (If I heard her say "OH LAAAAWWW school one more time.) When she is not double-speaking you to death, she has a shrill voice and will be rude.

Hers was one of two classes in all of the journalism program at Rutgers that taught me anything remotely useful now that I'm in the field. If you're going into newspapers, TAKE HER NEWS WRITING AND EDITING CLASS!! She's also an invaluable resource when it comes time to job hunt. She knows everyone in NJ media.

Also teackes with Miskoff in Desktop Publishing. Comes off as abrasive and opinionated but she absolutely knows her stuff. She is really cool when you get to know her -- she dishes it out but she can also take it. Fun to get into lively discussions with. A true public relations professional. DO NOT get on her bad side.
