Professor Reid has a heart like a mother. She is very caring and will go out of her way to help her students. She made a class that is terrifying for students very easy and fun. She started every seminar summarizes the key points from every lecture that week. She is the goat of Civ and a hidden gem.

Dr. Reid is my favorite professor at PC; she clearly cares a lot about her students and helping them improve in their writing. Every teacher should take notes of her teaching! As long as you participate, youll get an A.

This is my second semester with Dr. Reid. I had her for Eng 175 and DWC 201. She really wants you to succeed and really appreciates participation. She is also so accessible outside class.

Dr. Reid is one of the most underrated teachers at pc. She is supportive and understands the realities of civ students. She takes the time to throughly explain everything that is important on the exams when going over a topic. She is also very understanding of absences. Believe all the good ratings! Her class is a hidden gem of the civ department!

Professor Reid is by far one of the best professors in the English department. She wants her students to be engaged with the reading and does everything in her power for them to actually care about literature. If you participate in class, you don't have to take the quizzes, and all the work is so manageable and she gives great feedback!

I am borderline illiterate and loved this class because of Doctor Reid. Excellent teacher and person. 3 papers about 3-5 pages long and a relatively easy mid-term and final. Class has multiple quizzes throughout the semester but if you participate in class you don't need to take them and get a 100.

Literally the sweetest and most caring professor ever. This class is run by discussion style, few papers, 2 exams, but a very manageable class. Just take her, you won't regret it.

Seminar DWC professor. She makes seminar easy to speak in and very comfortable. She is very accessible outside of class and cares about her students doing well. Her quizzes are the easiest out of the DWC team and I highly recommend her!

CIV has always been a hard class for me and Dr. Reid made it manageable. She makes the class environment relaxed so everyone feels comfortable to participate. The reviews before exams were very helpful. She really wants her students to succeed. Overall, she is a great teacher and person who really cares about her students grades and well being.

Dr. Reid is the sweetest professor I have ever had. She cares about her students and wants them to do well. there are only 3 papers in the class, and half your grade depends upon how well you improve from one to the next. Readings aren't usually very long, and class is always run discussion style, so no boring lectures

One of the best professor's I've had. She caters the class entirely to her students and what they need. She is super flexible and loves hearing everyones opinions no matter what they are. Work load is light. She's the kind of teacher you want to go to class to see teach. Absolutely a must take professor. She's the best!

I had the absolute pleasure of having her for 2 semesters. She is so kind and lovable that I wish I could take her class every semester. She is always available to help in any way possible. She is accepting of all ideas and interpretation of texts. Her feedbacks on your writing will help you improve as a writer.

Great professor, always promoting discussion and getting the class involved as much as possible. If you need help with a paper, she's always ready to help whether it may be through her office hours or through email. She is always open to different opinions or interpretations. Absolutely kind.

You read a ton of great books and have interesting conversations-if the class participates. Reid cares about the class and only wants you to do well. She is an amazing soul and has a lot to say about the culture in America throughout the years. Great class. Would take any course she offers.

Dr. Reid is my favorite ENG professor at PC. Class is run like a book club. You read novels then come to class and discuss them. She never shuts you down and hears everyone's opinions, even if they're a little far-fetched. Just read her novels, talk in class, and you will succeed. Participation gets you out of quizzes. Extremely progressive woman.

Dr. Reid was great when I went to her for extra help with a paper. She gave me an extension and really just wanted me to succeed. She looks to see if you improve throughout the semester. Very nice and has never responded negatively to a comment made during seminar. Recommend
