Comment:

I loved Immunology. Dr. Temple does not use PowerPoints for lectures, but made it easy to learn by writing on the board and I was able to take awesome notes. He makes it very interesting and helps you learn difficult subject matter. The tests are all short answer or essays, but were all very doable, especially with his great teaching skills!

he's an all around good guy, he cares for his students and his tests are fairly easy. doesn't give a lot of homework, just a few mastering biology assignments. the only thing that bothered me was how messy the notes got on the board, so sometimes they'd get hard to follow. i would recommend taking a class with this professor

Dr Temple wasn't my favorite. I felt like if I didn't understand something then he would make me feel stupid. He makes jokes that arent appealing to the class and he doesn't offer much extra help. But he's a nice man and knows what he's talking about.

Comment:

Dr. Temple is my favorite professor at Nazareth! I adore his jokes/puns in class! He is always up for outside-class questions and discussions. I prefer his teaching style as his notes are well planned and organized in thought process (not necessarily on how it looks on the board). He gives you every opportunity to succeed in his classes.

Hes a great professor that care about his students success. His tests are predictable but are short answer so you do need to know your stuff. He has corny jokes and creates an overall welcoming class that is easy to ask questions and talk in.

Hated class with Dr. Temple. Half of class is him making terrible jokes that nobody enjoys. He talks down to everyone and makes you feel stupid if you don't understand something. Notes are unreasonable for lecture because he refuses to use powerpoint or any sort of technology. Also hard to follow since he randomly writes whatever comes to mind.

Dr. Temple is a wonderful teacher and his humor adds to his lectures. He uses easy- to-relate-to analogies to help with the clarity of the material. He's always willing to help and explain material you don't understand! The one thing he doesn't stand for, however, is not paying attention to his directions. Take his class!

Awesome prof! I didn't think anyone could make an intro. to bio course interesting but he did. Temple makes the material interesting using his humor and his tests are not bad as long as you study a decent amount.

I don't know what everyone is talking about- Temple is awesome for lab its really hard to NOT get 10 out of 10, you barely have to try writing up the labs. His tests are insanely predictable and all you really have to do is come to class and take good notes to study from. He makes learning complicated topics more understandable and easier to relate

I took him for many classes but I enjoyed Immunology the most. I dont know what this person is saying below - if you study then it is not difficult. Immunology is naturally convoluted so it is difficult in that respect. There are (3) 5 pagers and one 12 term paper. 3 tests and an amazingly easy final. One of the best bio profs for sure!

I would suggest Dr. Temple for Lab, but not class. He's a funny guy and sometimes goes off on tangents, but is fair and knows what he is talking about.
