I took the class online and loved it. Professor Wright truly cares and has structured the course to avoid procrastination (Fun and easy items due every week) and gives detailed rubrics. She is quick to respond to emails, does not give any quizzes, final project is an online flipbook (PP), & book collection (UAS) is completed throughout the course.

I took this class online and i really enjoyed it. She was very well organized and gave detailed instructions! Her assignments were all fun and i really loved reading all of the children books. Assignments every week! No quizzes, just discussion boards and activities.

Oh Professor Wright is an angel. She is so sweet and understanding. The work is easy if you follow the directions. She post step by step directions as well as good lectures. Easy A if you complete the work. TAKE HER!!!!!!!! I would take her again in a heart beat!

I love love love Professor Wright! I took this class over the summer as a 5 week course and it was simple to balance both work and school. She loves what she teaches and there are no tests. Book talks are simple and she gives you everything you need to write the final reflection. TAKE HER!

Professor Wright is AMAZING! Best teacher I've ever had! She is genuine, sincere, and so positive! I love her energy and knowledge with childrens books! I changed my grade level from 4-8th to 7-12th, so technically her class was a waste, but I don't regret it at all. She made me lover to read! TAKE HER!

Professor Wright is wonderful! I took her for Survey of Children's Lit. When you first look at her syllabus, you may seem overwhelmed, but she is extremely helpful and sends frequent emails with reminders and words of encouragement. I would definitely take her again!

Mrs. Wright is a great professor! She is willing to work with you on anything and emails you back quickly. There are no tests but you do have 8 projects for each genre. The projects are super easy and I actually enjoyed doing them. Overall she is a wonderful teacher who cares about her students. I would take her again in a heartbeat!

Great teacher! Easy grader and very enthusiastic about children's literature. She is so sweet and very understand. Genre project is quite over whelming, but then again I took it in 5-week class. I would definitely recommend her! Also, don't need the book.

The class is easy, but the genre project will make you want to kill yourself. Start it the day she give you in instructions. I'm not kidding. It is horrible. She really loves picture books, so don't be surprised by her insane excitement about children's literature.

Comment:

Survey of Children's Literature. Great class, awesome teacher. Expect 4 her 2 talk to class like she expects you 2 talk 2 your students. A lot of reading & projects. She provides easy ways to hunt for books. Start on your Genre Project right away-use handouts to help with it. I loved this class and really appreciated her advice. (Took in Fall 2012)

Amazing teacher!! Really fantastic. She is sweet, understanding and very caring of her students. I was never under the impression this would be a difficult class. It wasn't. There were some projects but you never had to present to the whole class. Just a small group.
