One of my favorite professors, I had in my first year. I will go to Anderson Hall from time to time just to have a chat with him. In class, he tell great stories and never take anything over serious. She's very knowledgeable about color and design as a whole. He never graded anything below 90. He will give you a lot of extra credit opportunities.

Very easy to talk to and will never fail a student, he is very good about extensions and enjoys communicating with his students. He does tend to repeat himself, but he is an older man which is understandable. Get ready to hear a lot about fluorescent lighting!

I respect this professor and will say he is very intelligent and makes amazing art. He is also bias and will subjectively grade you. He is pretty easy to pass but does not show much enthusiasm, probably due to his age. I can't really say I learned a single thing in his class. If you want an easy class without learning anything at all take him.

I meannnnnnn, This professor needs a round of applause.... This is by far the best professor ever. He is so caring and funny, If you miss a assignment you could replace by simply attending one of the field trips for extra credit and type up 800 words describing the field trip and that replaces the assignment you missed. WOW Its so easy TO PASS.

Bjornseth is an easy going professor. In Draw 101 we did contour drawing, gesture, Background first, perspective, one still life, and a creative self portrait. Bjornseth likes weird things, so if you draw something strange he will get really excited. He mostly gives out 85, 90, or 95. He only gives 100's if you show amazing skill and concepts.

Hands down the best professor I ever will have! His projects are fun, he loves digital work and can use any medium you want, first project you have to paint, but it will be a fun one! My favorite project I have done was the eevee game board, and it is easy to get a good grade if you put the effort and do not slack off, and he is funny and caring.

Had him for color theory, and he is really funny and tells stories all of the time. Only the first project has to be painted, and the rest can be digital to any medium you pretty much want. He does extra credit that replaces your lowest grade, which is nice. It is easy to get a b, but not too hard to get an a, he obviously expects effort. Love it.

Bjornseth is a great guy. He's funny, and his love of vintage pieces is something I really like about him. His projects are a little out there, and not like a normal color theory class. Beware buying a lot of paint supplies, you'll only need it for 1 1/2 projects. He loves digital work, and his projects are a lot easier if you're photoshop literate

Prof. Bjornseth was pretty good. He constantly checked in with each student's work and provided quality feedback. There is not much homework and he gives an ample amount of time in class to work on projects. He allows students to incorporate their own style. The only issue I had was his voice was very dry sounding, but hey, he can't help that.

Professor Bjornseth is really a great man. I had him for Drawing II my 1st Quarter Freshmen Year, and am taking him for color theory next quarter. Most of the time in his class we are working on a couple large drawings per class, moving from abstract at the beginning of the quarter to still lifes at the end. There is very minimal homework.

I really enjoyed Bjornseth's class because he doesn't expect photorealism, in fact he appreciates looser drawing styles and individuality. No boring still lives with 10+ random props in a composition. He cares about student input regarding how his class is run (he asks for written comments after every class). Interesting, quirky guy, I'd recommend.

Bjornseth is a fine choice if you are just trying to get through the class. He does not care too much about you as an individual. It is easy to get a B and not super tough to get an A, although there are not many grades and if he does not like one of your projects you'll be severely set back and will likely have to accept a B. He LOVES digital work

I was dreading color theory, but Prof. BYORN-SETH eradicated all of my fears. His projects are crazy fun and more than purely academic. He is also a really funny guy with some kooky-but-cool work. I'd take him again in a heartbeat.

I took Professor B for drawing 1 my first quarter at SCAD. He is an interesting guy to say the least. He has a ton of cool still life to draw and is clear about what he wants on projects. He sometimes is a little unorganized and forgetful but overall a very nice man and a generous grader. Show effort and you will be rewarded.

Bjornseth is probably the best foundations professor there is. He really cares about art, teaching, and his students. Seriously he lets you listen to music while you work, he takes feedback on projects, he will adjust due dates if the class is struggling, and his quizzes are easy and relevant.

Nice guy, if drawing is not your thing take this class. However anyone serious about drawing stay away. Most of his assignment are extremely fundamental, you'll be bored to tears, and won't learn anything new, he doesn't allow for creatively, must follow his style. He is quirky and brings WEIRD things to draw too. Tough on grading, little work load

I love him! I'm leaving with some portfolio pieces & the memory of genuinely enjoying going to class. The pop quizzes are EASY, 5-10 questions, and they don't count for much of your final grade. The textbook is at the library, I went & took pics and didn't buy the book. He made us coffee too. Each project was fun and exciting. Would take him again!

Loved this class! The projects were very applied (designing game boards, print ads, etc.) that felt useful instead of mindless painting projects. It's also very affordable because the painting is limited. He's a quirky guy, he takes pics of UFOs and has a good sense of humor. Would definitely recommend for color theory.

Bjornseth is my favorite professor I've had so far at SCAD. His class is so much fun, and he tells a bunch of fun stories and anecdotes to the class as he lets us work on our projects. He's so underrated, but he's amazing. TAKE HIS CLASS!!!
