She is so caring and inspirational, I would say she is one of my favorite professors that I have had so far. She makes learning about Global Studies very relevant and uses real-life examples to keep the class engaging and interesting. Highly recommend.

Nuria is one of the nicest and most understanding professors I have ever had. She cares deeply about her students and the well being of the class as a whole. She openly encourages people to speak about global issues and is accepting of all opinions. I am not even a global studies major, but she truly taught me so much and made the class enjoyable.

Nuria is hands down the sweetest woman at Providence. You can go to her with any problems and she is happy to help. Her nurturing nature is so nice in the classroom and she's extremely fair, she's no push over. Take her.

Absolutely love this woman! She truly cares about the development of each one of her students (and even started to tear up on the last day of class!). She definitely brought her expertise in linguistics, Spanish, and valuable insight to every class. Respectful of all students' opinions (and always looked like she just stepped off a runway!).

I loved her! Dr. Alonso Garcia cares a great deal about her students and is always willing to help. It is true that you must do a lot of work, but it's totally worth it because you learn so much. Lots of projects, tests are all essays, but truly a great class to take. She is from Spain and always dresses so cute as well.

Yeah, she's cute...but you better be prepared to do a lot of work outside the classroom. We had to watch 6 movies outside of class, plan 4 projects a piece, and now our final project entails watching the spanish news for 2 weeks prior to the exam due date and reporting on it-- lots of work but if you're up to it, the class is great

She is soooo sweet, but her grading system has screwed me twice. To get an A, you need like a 92, so a 91.3 doesn't count as an A-!!! To get a B- you need a 75?!?!? so u can tell, ull most likey get a B cuz of her system. She's very nice, even though her tests are mad hard, she has projects that help raise ur grade

Senora Alonso is the best professor I have ever had at PC. She is SUCH a sweetheart and is so enthusiastic about teaching, you can tell she really loves it. She genuinely cares about all her students and will do anything to help. Class work is very interesting and putting in work pays off.

The best spanish prof i've had at PC. I absolutely love her. You can tell she really cares about her students, and she's very approachable. An excellent teacher and a lot of fun. Not a hard grader if you just put in the time and do the work. Highly recommended.

the class isnt EASY, but not hard either. She is very helpful, one time i messed up a test and she gave me a makeup test. She's pretty clear and helpful. Lastly, she is the hottest girl on the PC campus, hands down...including students. I love her.
