He is a genius and you'll learn a lot only if you put in lots of effort on your own to supplement lectures.

Dr. Fellows is challenging. If you pay attention and prepare yourself, you'll do fine. He's the reason I changed my focus to Finance. You'll learn a lot and be prepared with him.

Dr. Fellows is cold and untouchable. He has really bad handwriting and you hardly get what he wants you remember. Oh, he doesn't post lecture notes on blackboard, so it is important to remember what he said during class. No deny that he is excellent in academy, but a lot of time he seems only to be the smart genius for himself, not the class.

Granted, I graduated from Truman in 1996, but Dr. Fellows was by far the best Business professor I had. His tests are tough, but if you listen to him and talk with him during office hours, his class is very passable. The lessons I learned from him have helped me tremendously in my professional career. He is tough and so is the real world. Thanks

Comment:
Fellows has terrible handwriting. I believe that is the only reason I couldn't pass because I couldn't follow along in lectures or review my notes later. I was guessing on everything throughout the entire class. He is very cocky and hard to like. There were quizzes every week and a couple of large test which could not be completed in time.

Comment:
Fellows is not a good professor. However, his class structure is definitely perfect to learn from. His CLASS forces you to learn how to do cases and have those "AH HAH" moments that burn things into your brain. If this same class was taught by an actual teacher who helped students it would be wonderful. Hard, unfair, but effective. Take if you dare

Dr. Fellows has terrible handwriting and the material is next to impossible. However, he is funny and is somewhat clear in presenting the info. All you have to do is buy a calculator, do the assigned hw problems, and ask him for questions. VERY APPROACHABLE. it's like he's bored and wants students to come hang out with him and help them.

He is intelligent and definitely supplements the book greatly, talking about things you will encounter in an MBA prgrm or at a company if you worked in the Finance dpmt, but he is arrogant. He doesn't give enough time 4 tests & everyone fails them.He prepares you well for Corporate Finance.

Arguably, it has been 15 years since I attended his classes, but Mr. Fellows was the one to inspire me most of all academic staff at Truman. I even re-took International Business class to take his view at it after taking one with Gilchrist. He may be tough, and certainly is not a soul of a company, but does he know his stuff!

Presents the material with tons of clarity, and tells you exactly what you have to do and how to do it. Tells you and shows you how to use a calculator whenever it's helpful. I took intro, and was teaching students in the higher finance class how to do their problems. Great professor.

Corp was tough but he was excellent. Helpful during office hours, and willing to answer questions. I had a very positive experience in his class! I also enjoyed Policy. I recommend both as you will learn much more from this professor than anyone else in the BSAD division. Dr. Mun and Dr. Fellows are the bestest of the best.

Corporate Finance - Worst professor I have ever had. Extremely unapproachable and arrogant. Worst communicator I have ever met. I don't think he would survive in the business world with this attitude. Avoid him at all costs.

PF is aloof, arrogant, and unapproachable. Does not help students and berates them in class. I'm now in an MBA program and this class was by far the hardest and least useful at Truman. Don't bother taking it unless you REALLY want to major in finance.

This professor is the moodiest person on earth. Overall, he is a horrible professor. He thinks he is teaching an MBA class in Colombia, but it is an undergraduate level class. This man cursed a student during the final exam refusing to give an extra sheet! One time, he refused to collect one person's final exam coz she was a second late! BAD MAN

Corp is tough, but you learn a lot if you stick with it. Policy is a heck of a lot of fun, and he makes it relaxed, so you learn without working too hard. I'd recommend both.
