This class was literally a joke. If you're looking for an easy A take it! All he talked about was "Pain & Gain" an article he wrote. Beyond sarcastic. Took forever to grade papers. Only like 4 assignments (nothing major). He rescheduled class time because "it was too early for him". Overall I got an "A" no complaints there.

Pete Collins is probably the worst teacher I have ever had...ever!! He should be showing whales how to beach themselves on an isolated island somewhere. Seriously though this guy has no business teaching, he's rude, arrogant, unorganized, and doesn't know the material!! Do yourself a favor and stay away from Collins both in and out of class.

Horrible teacher. class at 9am he never showed up on time. First 2 weeks he didnt show up to over half the classes. no syllabus until 3/4 wks into class. very random on grading and very disrespectful towards everyone! Avoid!

Very nice and easy teacher. Go to class, he usually lets it out early. He gives small assignments but only grades the 4 core papers. Pretty easy grader. He curves a lot at the end. TAKE HIM!!!

Loved this class. Out of all my classes this was my favorite. Mr. Collins is sooooo funny and frequently talks of nothing. Don't listen to anyone who says his sarcasm gets boring. Got an A. Class is extremely easy. If you really want to learn then dont take him. Nice guy...especially to the girls...wish i could take him for english two.

I personally didnt like Mr.Collin's class...I have to admit he was funny at times...and he let class out early alot...but he made fun of everyone...and he grades you on how much he likes you, instead of the content of your work. He is also really opinionated...and not afraid to call you out in front of everyone.

This guy is freaking awesome. He is a little spaced out but is an excellent writter and teacher. I would highly recommend this professor. You get to re-write your lowest core paper. In addition to that, if you go to the writting center you get extra credit. Great professor

Sat through one session: Collins seems like he may be a good journalist, but also it seems he believes himself one of the proverbial "cool" teachers because he swears and ingratiates himself at the expense of the students' egos. I felt I wouldn't grow as a writer as much as I would be intimidated. I decided not to finish the semester with him.

I am totally clueless as to how this guy has a good rating on here. The first day of class he came in completely retarded. He was no clue what he is talking about and is very disorganized. This guy is crazy. He cant keep one thought and he doesnt even show up half the time. Didnt do anything but the 4 papers, none of my homework, and went to 1/2 of the classes and got a B+. Dont get on his bad side, try to go to class and you will get a good grade. He is funny, and cusses a lot, but I think i might be dumber now having had him.

PC is very unorganized, he interrupts, rambles, rants and raves...he has no idea about teaching and thinks his precious "Pain and Game" deserved a damn Pulitzer.
