Comment:

Not a bad teacher, just up your butt quite a bit about you papers, which is understandable. One major problem is that you tend to be treated a lot younger than you actually are, and are usually seen as a lesser person. One advantage is that she is a very fair grader in my opinion, and super easy to reach if you need help. She is also very nice.

Did a 3 project assignment the entire semester. We picked something that mattered to us and made 3 different ways to present it. (Flyer, PSA, Poster , ect.) Some days it was pointless to go. She tends to ramble on about stuff but normally stops herself after awhile. Very easy to get along with. Will give extensions on projects to entire class.

Amazing professor. If you need help all you have to do is ask. Her writing assignments aren't horribly long (mainly between 4-7 pages), and they are interesting and make you think outside the box. Her grading is fair and reasonable, and her feedback is helpful. Put in the work and you'll be rewarded!

Robin is a better adviser than teacher. I would have liked her better if she had shown us examples of what she wanted instead of just telling us. The worst thing about the class was the group project. She gives group grades, not individual and I almost failed because of someone else not coming to class.

It is because of Robin that I became an English major. She is fantastic and will make time to help you if you are invested as well. She is easy going and nice. Her lectures are sometimes scatter-brained, but the whole department is like that- which makes English fun!

Excellent teacher. Although her class can seem like a load towards the end she is always available to help you. Quick at responding to emails and always willing to meet with you in person. If youre going to take Advanced Comp take it with her it will be well worth it. Shes also understanding about emergencys when you have to miss class. My Favorite

Dr. Gallaher is a great teacher! She really tries, but it seems when you ask questions in class she goes around the question and doesnt exaclty answer it. She wants papers written her way so it helps ALOT to go to her office and ask for help. This will help alot! seriously.

Possibly the most anal retentive human being on the face of the planet. I got an A on all of my papers and she tried to give me a C for not coming to her boring, kindergarten style class lectures. I don't understand why she isn't teaching 5 year olds. Enough said.

Robin is a nice lady and a good teacher, however, I found the class boring and almost dreaded going. Nobody would participate. If you dont like group projects DONT take this class. I didnt think the grading on the group project was fair since there were always people who contributed more than others and that wasnt taken into consideration.

She's a nice person but not my favorite teacher. I would say definitely go in for help because that's the only way I really knew what she wanted. It's not hard to pull an A, but her grading scale is a matrix without much feedback so you kind of have to guess at what you're doing wrong.

Alright she's a nice lady, i'll give that to her. But her class is so mind numbingly boring I can't stand it most days. She made English fun for me. I loved having her. She is one of the best college professors I've had at Northwest. She was very helpful. I would have taken her for all my English if I could have got into her classes.
