Honestly, one of the most boring professors ever. He is a nice guy and does care about helping you, but his style of teaching is very slow, and all of his lectures are reading from a screen that is all screenshots of the textbook. He will give pop quizzes and his exams arent very difficult. Read the textbook and youll be better off.

He's a pretty bad professor. Over complicates simple topics and expresses the worst expectations from students. He gives so many other resources like online videos and formula sheets because he knows individuals score so badly on average on his tests. Yet he thinks it's the students fault and not his own. If I were you I wouldn't take him.

He drops your 3 lowest quiz grades, the review sheets are very similar to the exams and he allows you to have a formula sheet for all exams. However, he often doesn't know how to do the problems in his own powerpoints and grades harshly. If you make something such as a sign mistake (or any small error), he will disproportionately take points off.

Professor Czochor is not bad, I had him for Calc I. He uses PowerPoint for his lectures which I liked because he also posts them ahead of time and it is easy to follow along and take notes. He allows formula sheets on his exams and is a fair grader. He expects you to write out steps taken to get to a solution, and he gives partial credit on exams.

He is the worst math teacher I have ever had. He only works off of powerpoints and when you have trouble he shows you how to do it on his computer app. He often messes up on problems and doesn't realize until students bring it up. He marks points off for everything AND anything. DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!

I always hate to see good professors get poor ratings due to the actual subject being difficult. Dr. Czochor is a pretty chill professor, if you actually put in the work necessary for a higher level math course, you will succeed in his class. It's ashame people think that just by going to a lecture they will magically learn material.

Mainly teaches off of PowerPoints and has no regular schedule for when online homeworks are made accessible or due. Only positive is that the review tests look exactly like the exams and he hands out lots of partial through most problems.

I took Prof Czochor for Calculus 3 and for Math for Engineering Analysis the following semester. I had a good experience both times. His assignments are organized and easy to keep up with. Lectures can get tough to follow at times but doing the homework helps you keep up with the class. Also he posts sample tests before every exam, a huge help.

Comment:
Not a great teacher. He uses power points to teach math, which really just doesn't work. He also makes a lot of mistakes when doing example problems on the board to the point where the students end up teaching him how to solve the problem. The good part about this class is that the tests are pretty easy and the study guides are basically the test.

This man is all over the place in his lectures. His power points are useless, he gives daily homework that is not graded, but if you do not do it you will suffer. Not only does he give daily homework he also gives online as well! You get three tests for a ton of material and the tests consist of about 15 questions to cover about 5 chapters. ENJOY!

Calc2 is a generally hard class, but he gives you the opportunity to do good in the class. If you do the hw he assigns from the textbook it will make tests very easy. It might be a lot but it helps a lot. His handwriting isn't the best try and sit in the front. He tries to have a lot of office hours for extra help. I'm definitely taking him again.

Wouldnt recommend. Grading is not consistent. He writes circles around himself and doesn't finish the problem. Tells you to use technology to solve hw but thats not allowed for a test. I got As on quizzes and failed all tests. He drops like 5 quiz grades that's how you know it's bad! Whole class lost points bc he made a typo refused to change it.

Trust me, there are definitely worst choices for a professor. Ron was not the best at explaining things, but if you are prepared to do some of the learning on your own time, you'll do fine. Not to mention that he is extremely forgiving with grading, lets you have formula sheets on tests, and assigns review problems that look exactly like the exam.

He is prepared for class but never actually looks at his notes so half of his examples end up being done wrong. He gives pop quizzes (sometimes they are announced) but drops the lowest 3. His test come mainly from homework problems. If you at least look them over you'll pass. He also allows formula sheets on the tests. He is helpful if you ask.

He was a very nice guy, but not an amazing teacher. He would often make mistakes with examples on the board. Attendance is graded and his test are pretty easy, but he requires you to show your work. I was thankful I took Calc in High School. He would often breeze over important topics. Homework was usually optional, but useful.

Nice guy, very bad teacher. His lectures are frequently cringeworthy and usually gets at least one of his in-class examples wrong and gets called out by one of the students. He does not explain things well and you are stuck basicly learning everything on your own. He gives pop quizzes so you better know the material when they come.

He's a pretty boring professor who laughs at math jokes. Overall, his exams are straight forward and are not meant to throw any curve balls at you. If you get a use the textbook and understand how to do the HW problems, there is no reason you should not get an A.

He's a pretty good guy, and knows calc very well. He just isn't the best teacher. It's a lot of teaching yourself, but he never checks hw, the exams he allows formula sheets where you basically right out how to do the problem, and he never puts the hard problems on the exam. If you're good at calc it should be an easy A.

Please avoid him at all cost! He doesn't know how to explain at all! If it's not done the way he does it then he marks it wrong even if you get to the correct answer. He also goes about things the difficult way rather than the easy way. You couldn't pay me to take him again.
