This class was definitely a challenge and kept me busy throughout the semester. My highest workload for sure. I wouldn't recommend this class for someone who is just trying to fill out credit hours to remain a full time student but if you're really into photography and you really take it seriously its a good class for you.

not helpful to students, he'd rather cut you down than help you out. negative reinforcement much? would rather shoot myself in the face than take anything taught by him again.

I was in this online class for MFA grads too and agree. some art students can't write a grammatical sentence and this guy demands it. he challenged a lot of art school theories and this upset many people. I googled him and the guy was a player in his day. knows his stuff. be prepared for a lot of reading and writing.

Comment:

Very demanding but fair. Not what I expected in art school. Being online, could see who didn't do the work and were lost. I took Photo History as an undergrad but this course had little overlap. It put photography in context with the real world, not just the art world. It completely changed my approach to my work and to fine art photography.
