A class where you'll actually LEARN and acquire usable skills! She challenges you to be creative, and try to excel through her assignments. Her classes are rather enjoyable, and there's no final exam, nor a text book. Attend class, pay attention, and I can guarantee your writing skills will greatly improve! Very fair grader as well.

The negative comments and ratings against her are EXAGGERATED. This was probably one of the most fulfilling and enjoyable classes I have every taken at the university level. You actually learn a great deal in this course through actual hands on experience, which keeps you greatly involved! Is it a walk in the park? No, but this is UNIVERSITY,no?

sharron is possibly one of the best teacheres i have had at mcgill continuing education thus far. she spends so much time with the class to help them with the material as much as she can, and she dedicates herself to teaching in a perfect way.

One of the worst professors and classes I have had at McGill. I write well to begin with, and learned nothing at all in the entire semester. She arbitrarily changed the syllabus almost weekly, never informed the class what she wanted and was shocked when half the class did something different than her expectation.

well.. hard to say. she's fair and cares about your progress. she's blunt, down to the point, and very available and will go out of her way for help. BUT, she's not very clear on what she wants, and if you don't have a direction, then you'll be lost. not recommended for slackers. gotta actually work for her.
