I took PSY 101 with Dr. Willard, he is a really caring professor. He wants you to understand the material, and will do everything to improve class grades. Grading on a curve, dropping low quiz grades, etc. Pay attention even though some lectures can be dry, ask questions, and you can ace this class.!

He replied heavily on slideshows and wasn't very interesting. It was very hard to sit through class because he couldn't hold the classes attention.

Professor Willard is a sweet old man, sometimes his lectures can seem long but nothing you can't expect from any other class. He is very understanding and tries to help anyone if they ask for it. He provides lots of examples in class and lets you participate in them so the content is easier to understand.

Professor Willard is a really nice guy and wants you to do well. However, he is not very clear in what he wants on projects and papers. I had a very tough time in this class because nothing was very clear and the lectures don't help at all. You have to teach yourself. Buy the textbook!

He's so sweet! And a wonderful man but if you aren't interested in psych don't take him because he will bore you. I loved psychology and I was interested in what he was saying so this class wasn't hard. Make sure you study his study guides and you should be fine.

I dont know why he has such bad reviews, yes his class may put u to sleep. But he gives you study guides that basically have at least half the test on it (he will even give some multiple choice questions) His class may be my only A this semester due to his teaching style. Take him, test are pretty easy, if the whole class fails he will adjust test

He seems nice, but you can barley hear him talk and he teaches us like he's in com 101 giving a speech. He only goes so far into a given topic, so you don't really understand the background of the thing he is teaching you. The test questions are pretty much related to what's on the power points so study the power points he puts online religiously.

Although professor Willard is extremely nice and a sweet old man, his lectures are very long and boring. Going to class was pointless as he talks so quiet you can hardly hear him. Taught myself everything the day before the final using the book. Will not be taking another class by professor Willard.

So so so sweet! Very quiet though so you really need to pay attention while he talks. Super helpful and will throw out test questions if the whole class struggles. Usually adds a curve! Lots of quizzes.

He's a nice guy, he will definitley help if you ask, but the lectures are kinda boring. You basically have to read the book to pass the class and his tests are kinda hard. You do a lot of personality tests in class which is actually really fun, and the material is actually kind of interesting.

Willard is a good professor, just very monotone. He speaks quietly sometimes and it is hard to hear him. Gives study guides for tests and quizzes, all on scantrons (he will give a curve sometimes). We had 1 paper and debate, wasn't hard at all. He's really clear on what he expects and wants from you. Overall, good professor.

Willard knew what he was talking about, and if you pay attention and take notes then the tests were very easy. He can be kind of quite when lecturing, and can also ramble on when explaining something, but overall not that bad.

Dr. Willard is a really great teacher. He never piles on the homework and there are NO research papers! He gives time for everyone to ask questions and answers them fully; he also uploads all powerpoints and lessons to the student website. Fave class!

Nice guy, easy to talk to. He doesn't look like he ever wants to be in class. The class is really boring. Tests are not easy. Study guides were more confusing than helpful. I never knew what my grade was like, and ended up failing with a D.

I really like psychology and has an AMAZING teacher my senior year of high school. I took this class my first semester per my mothers request (she had him and LOVED him). His lectures are boring and his voice is monotone as best. His tests are too ridiculous to even discuss and you NEVER get back the actual tests just the scantron

I was excited to take this class and he ruined it for me. He would go off on tangents that made no sense and then half the test would be things that he mentioned for 3 seconds. Tests were harder than expected too and I am a good student if that says anything...
