He talks a lot and it kind of feels like he is rambling on and on, but that was my only complain. He answers questions well and gave great feedback. I'm not sure who these people were who thought he was such a terrible person, but he never came off that way to me. Papers are easy if you make an effort and spend some time on them.

Gives no feedback that you can read and will just degrade you if you ask what you are doing wrong. If this guy is on your schedule for writing, either drop the class or find another professor. Not worth having this guy, trust me, get him off your schedule.

If you don't agree w/ him good luck with the class. His comments are harsh and inappropriate. Never answers emails and is never in his office hours. Papers are a game. Good luck and "may the odds be ever in your favor."

At first I really had problems with him, then I realized he wanted us to get out and learn. He is tough, but I have a lot of respect for him. I ended up enjoying his class. Many fall short when they realize there is work involved, but his class is a perfect chance to learn great research skills. There is little to no instruction, so beware.

This guy is miserable! He tears everything apart and is more destructive than constructive. Won't give you the time of day and his conferences are an excuse for him to belittle you. Teacher? Yeah right! Executioner, is more like it!! Should not be dealing in educational matters. How much longer will his antics go on?

THE ABSOLUTE WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD! Acts as if he knows everything there is to know on everything. Does not allow you to have an opinion other then his. Personally attacks students in class and barades them with questions to make them feel stupid and on the spot. His conferences are a joke since all he does is belittle you.

Writing II... It's as easy as it gets, just 4 papers. He'll help you develop your ideas, will engage in a little banter to get you thinking. Oh... and his attendance policy... don't pay attention to it, it's just a ploy to get you to go to class.
