Just garbage. Disorganized. Rambles. I thought developmental Psychology would be interesting but she changed me mind. I'm not even sure what her research is. Usually it's easy to figure out but it's probably just as wishy-washy as her class.

I assumed (incorrectly) that she could teach because she was a psych prof. You know? They study people and how they develop or learn etc. So they could put it into practice. Guess I was wrong...

Tests you on your ability to spit out her definitions word for word. You can UNDERSTAND the material but do poorly because your definitions are not in her words. Takes off one mark for lacking a specific word and gives .25 for valid points in short answer. A 5 point question requires 15 arguments.

FAVORITE PROF EVER. I took both Psych 101 and 102 from her, and got 90+ in both. I would read over the notes two or three times before midterms. Her classes are interesting, organized, and straight forward. VERY FAIR.

She covers a massive amonut of material in class (lectures exclusively by power point). For tests, you need to know -word for word- everything on the powerpoints, and so a HUGE amount of study time is required for a decent mark.

Not a bad prof. Lots and lots of notes but she provides lecture outlines. Midterms are not incredibly difficult, but you have to study lots.

It was a super easy class as long as you showed up, took notes and studied for 3-4 hours for the 2 midterms and final. I really don't get how so many people failed them, they were SO easy. She's really clear on what she's going to test you on. Good prof.

Teressa is a great prof. All the notes are posted on webct so all you do is print them off and follow along. I got a 80 on the midterm and kept my mark throughout the whole class. I would recommend her any day. Her jokes are dry but you learn to laugh at them because their so dumb ha. Take it from her, she makes things very interesting.

Good Prof. Lots of information in the class. It would be nice if there were more tests instead of having to study loads and loads of notes for each exam. It would be easier to learn that way I think. She keeps the class interesting and isn't boring. I would recommend this prof for Psyc. But If you don't like studying lot's I wouldn't recommend psyc

Good prof. She uses power point and posts the outline on WebCT, which makes it easy to take notes and is a good study guide. Two midterms and a final with an optional essay to replace a bad mark on one of the midterms. If you go to class and study, you will do well. Tons of material and tons of memorization, but that's psychology!

She knows her stuff, but it's difficult to study when you have 100's of notes to go through before each midterm or final. Her exams cover everything that you take notes on, nothing more, nothing less, but I still found them hard to write. Besides the fact that you take mountains of notes, she seems somewhat unapproachable.

Tiefenbach is an AWESOME prof. You want to make sure that you go to class because she gives excellent notes and hand outs. She doesn't assign much reading, and the exams come straight from the notes! Studying really pays off in her class, and her exams are extremely fair. She comes off as a bit severe, but she's very approachable and friendly!

This class had extremely simple subject matter, but...I had more notes in this class alone then all my other four classes and 2 labs combined. The exams are easy but have fun studying hundreds of pages of notes.

Wonderful prof! Yes, much memorization is needed, but this is the case for ALL psych classes. If you sudy, tests are very easy, no tricks. Her notes are very clear and tests are taken directly from the notes, so go to class. Appears to be unapproachable, but in reality is not, and is very willing to accomidate. HIGHLY RECOMEND!

Ok, its not a hard class, its jus psyc and every psyc class covers A LOT of material...if you don't like that then don't take the class. She just uses application a lot but i mean i studied the night before for each test and i got HIGH 80's. She is more then willing to help those who need it, i totally reccommend this class.

Horrible prof. Somebody who should never be allowed to teach students at a university level, or anylevel. Does not have the natural ability to teach. Completely unrealisitc with her expectations for a intorductory level course. Stupid amounts of memorization and not helpful at all. Basically, she can't teach and gives unreasonably hard tests

Really good professor- very nice and easy to follow- knows her stuff! Her lectures were interesting and the notes are very easy to follow. I definitely recommend taking one of her classes because although a lot of material is covered, it is NOT too much to handle!!
