For a course like Economics, it is extremely hard to learn straight of the textbooks. He is hard to understand and his powerpoints do not offer much more towards helping you understand the subject. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!

Super hard to understand, makes really weird examples and few of his review questions are on the test. It is not that difficult to pass as long as you attend everyday, but it's not very easy to get high scores unless your a excellent test taker.

I swear, he got less understandable with every passing class. His accent was hard enough to understand, but he also clipped off syllables and mangled key terms. Handouts were badly formatted PP slides with critical data blacked out by mistake, and no downloads available. Be prepared to learn the material from the text, which was thankfully clear.

He is the worst teacher I've ever had. I'm still in shock after taking the class. Not understandable by any means. The tests have nothing to do with the study guides. Always talking about awkward things too. DO NOT TAKE HIM!

I can only add to this board by warning everyone against taking him. He is also beyond belief!!! It will be the hardest GenEd you've ever taken promise. If you go to class he promises you a passing grade but our test average was a 53 and no additional work is given. If you value your GPA take someone else!!!

TERRIBLE!!! Can't understand him and by the time you do he is way past whatever he was talking about. Makes sexual jokes and very inappropriate. He asks his test questions in the hardest possible way. Avg for class was 64 on first exam and 56 on second. Only one person got an A in the class. DO NOT TAKE!!!

For the love of god...do not take this man! Does not teach at all, stays in front of the room and paces and talks to walls rather than the class. Doesn't answer questions, and even curves but grades suck so bad it doesn't even matter. He hasn't changed his test since 2004 so it is easy to cheat, other kids did and it screws your curve.DO NOT TAKE!!

Very hard to understand because of his accent. Class consists of him lecturing and showing powerpoint slides which he also passes out to you. There is no reason to go to class. Study the book and his handouts. Tests are hard and it is difficult to know what will be on the tests. 1 hour feels like 4. Bring your laptop to make time go by faster!

Mr. Dung is ept, but also extremely monotone. His accent was fine for me, but most found it near impossible to understand what he was saying. Class has very few points possible, and three very, VERY difficult exams make up the entirety of the points. I got an "A", and still thought this was hardest teacher I've ever had. Avg. Class grade: D- (62%)

Great Professor! Slight accent, pay attention and if you didn't hear him clearly, just ask. Very knowledgeable, interesting and really hopes you take an interest in the class. He is very focused, can seem distant but actually he's very aware. Likes participation, will mentor you through stories and likes to discuss current issues relating to econ.

Bad prof, should not be teaching due to his accent. I've tried listening to him but it's just impossible. Tests are hard and require a lot of studying, and even then you'll be lucky if you get a D, class average for the first test was in the 50%-60% range, second wasn't much better. AVOID

You guys need to stop whining. It is very simple to do well in his class: either listen when he lectures, or if you can't understand him, read the book. Then, take the online tests-pre and post. His tests are made from the test bank from the book,not from his lecture notes. Use the lecture to learn the basic concepts to prepare for the online tests.
