Comment:

I hate math more than more than Pepsi and Coke hate each other. But, Watson made it bearable. I've majored in a different subject, so I don't have a math background, however I still made an A. I'd recommend to do every HW assignment. Those are more helpful than the actual test guides. Also, in my class she replaces out lowest exam with the final.

Comment:

Dr. Watson is the best professor I have ever had. She teaches the material very thoroughly and actually wants her students to do well. She also allows a full sheet of paper as a cheat sheet for each test. Attendance is not mandatory, but she grades participation by a few in-class questions, so make sure to check the lecture notes to see.

Comment:

Easiest class. She's a very sweet person and genuinely cares about her students doing well in her class. Do the homework and ALEKS because it will make the exams easier. The only time you use the textbook is when she assigned homework.

Comment:

I hate ALEKS, but that's what the math dept at KSU thinks we all need, so... ALEKS made my life miserable, but Dr. Watson was sweet and caring and did her best to make herself accessible to all students. I find math EXTREMELY DIFFICULT and was able to pull an A, but it was a miracle getting here. On top of ALEKS, she has her own HW... Be prepared.

Comment:

Professor Watson is a great professor. She makes sure that everyone understands what she is teaching and will re-explain something if you do not get it. She also allows an entire sheet of paper for a cheat sheet on most tests. I would take her for Algebra if you can!

Amazing professor who makes lectures entertaining and easy to understand. She puts a great amount of effort into helping outside of class and gives plenty of opportunities to get help.

I really enjoyed Dr. Watson's class this semester. Her notes are accessible outside of class and during tests, she will allow you a cheat sheet sometimes. Her office hours are given and she usually stays after class to help anybody confused. She is a very sweet lady ans really wants you to understand the math.

Dr. Watson was the best math teacher I have ever had. For trig, there are many opportunities to get a 100 in the grade book. She let my class have a cheat sheet for all tests including the final. I took this class at night class, and she always let us out fifteen minutes or more before class was scheduled to end. She offers many office hours.

Comment:

Shes a great teacher if you want a class that isnt too hard. If you listen in class or are good at math then its very easy. She did use ALEKS though which sometimes didnt work, and her tests are very short so be prepared. All in all a good choice.

Comment:

One of my favorite teachers! she is kind, caring (she knew us all by name by the second week), and will work with you to get where you need to go. There is a lot of weekly homework, I spent close to 9 hours a week working with the homework program ALEKS which wasn't terrible as long as you stayed on top of it. Be prepared to work for your grade!

I'm in this class and the teacher is so caring and learns all of our names and is 100% willing to work with you if you are struggling. She will give you an extension on homework if you really need it. She also never makes you feel stupid for not understanding and is willing to take the time to work with you. She also is a really fair grader!

Ms. Watson is awesome. I am not very good at math and needed a C in this class to move on. She gives 3 test and a final. She will replace your lowest test grade with the final grade if its higher. She gives plenty of homework points, I advise you guys to do all the homework because it will allow you to do not so good on the test and still pass!

She is great!! I was a dual enrollment student taking her class and I never struggled. She lets you have an entire printer paper, front and back, as a cheat sheet on tests. Her review sheets tell you every possible topic that could be on the test, so you are aware of absolutely everything you need to know. She has extra points built in.

Professor Watson is really sweet. Her grading is amazing (homework is worth just as much as the tests). She lets you have a cheat sheet for each test. The only complaint is that she teaches really fast, and we frequently had to tell her to slow down.

DO THE HOMEWORK it's such a huge part of your grade, so if you do it, there's a good chance you'll get an A. She posts all of her notes online and attendance isn't mandatory, but go to class so you understand. She ends class early all the time and is always willing to help. She wants her students to ask questions and succeed.

SO awesome!!! Professor Watson really cares about her students and takes the time to explain to you if you don't understand something. I am not a math person but I still made an A because I put in the effort and Professor Watson noticed and worked with me about it.

Loved this class. Prof Watson is a great math teacher, shes very helpful and explains well. shes a total math nerd with cheesy jokes but I love that. HW assignments every few classes but they are easy and she gives the second half of EVERY class to work on HW/ask Q's or u can leave if u want. test 3 and final allow cheat sheet. HW is main grade. EZ

This class was quite the challenge but she is a good professor. She mostly teaches new concepts through examples. She dedicates half the class time (most days) to helping students with their work so you have a lot of time in class to do the with homework and get help. LOTS of homework. This class is good for those talented at math. Would take again

Comment:

Professor Watson made Precalculus easy. As long as you do the homework, which she allows you to do in groups, you'll probably pass. The homework counts more than any tests by the end of the semester and the tests themselves are just like the test reviews she gives. You can use a cheat sheet on the final and she posts all her class notes.. TAKE HER.

Dr. Watson is seriously the best math teacher I have had. She made the concepts so easy to understand, and math is not my strong suit. She really seems to care about her students, just don't be afraid to ask for help!
