didn't go to much lectures. i thought it was a waste of time after going to the first two weeks. its not really worth it at 8 in the morning. but, the lectures i did go to were boring but ok. midterm and final were pretty hard, but its curved.

Attending lectures is a waste of time, just get it from his website. Do the homework he assigns, and you'll do alright. Just attend the discussions and days of the midterm and final. Midterm is easy, final was a total shock, but the curve was low.

not a great teacher to wake up to at 8 in the morning, but he knows his material. quizzes are based on hw and lectures, so go to class. midterm was straightforward, final was extremely difficult, but overall grade was curved. if you do the hw and the quizzes, the class will be manageable.

He is very stingy about points. One time i asked for a regrade, rather than giving me the point back he took away an extra point. when I confront him, he said some irrational explainations to justify his action. Man, i felt so cheated by him. Lecture quality was below average, tests are ok, but the points distribution of them sucked.

The demonstratons are great (I heard he was one of the few who do them). Make sure you understand the concepts, especially work/energy. On the midterm/final, there are SOME questions that can be done a short way and a long way, so pay attention. Really try to ace his final (pretty difficult). Overall, I enjoyed his instruction.

Very boring lectures and hard to understand, I went to maybe half of them. His lectures are posted online anyway. His midterm was easier than the final. He enjoys low means but curves generously. Go to disc and do well on hw and quizzes, they help your grade alot.
