Kedem is the man! Although he might seem really intimidating at first, he's actually quite approachable. He might seem curt when he's responding to questions, but I think overall he appreciates them a lot. I think I did well in his class is just asking a lot of questions. He really looks at class participation and gives extra credits for that.

His class is SO boring. I do not think i've ever stayed awake his whole class. Apart from that, he's not a very good teacher. I once emailed him and the TAs for help and he gave me the wrong answer where the TAs gave me the correct one. In class, he sometimes forgets what his slides are and decides to just skip them. He also runs late every time and gets behind. He is rather nice however.

He is very boring, but he's pretty good at teaching if you can stay awake. He knows the subject well, and the final is extremely similar to the one he posts on the web. His hws always contain the same mistakes and ambiguities, but as long as your ta isn't wagner, your interpretation is fine.

If you thought Ramm was bad, wait till you have Kedem. His incompetent teaching style is rivalled only by his linguistic ineptitude and his predilection for ambiguity.
