Comment:

The course was easy, but often times the course work was unclear. I learned more from the feedback rather than completing the assignment itself. I would recommend this professor though because the course work is not too much and the assignments are not too difficult. End of semester must interview a student who moved to America.

Comment:

This was a great class. The papers required application of theories to one's own teaching which made me think. She reached out to me when I wanted to give up due to quarantine and personal issues. She offered assistance which was super nice and caused me to get back to work. Thank you for that!

For an online class you expect your professor to be prompt with emails. She's not. It took three and four days for her to respond, and when she did respond it seemed like she skimmed the email but didn't pay attention to anything I wrote. Pay attention to your grade because she made many errors that I had to talk to her about. Good luck.

Horrible instructor. She comes off nice, but it very negligent with her students. To get a simple question answered for an online assignment, it took two weeks of emailing her back and forth. She kept sending me generic responses that did not answer my questions. She only became helpful when I told her I would be contacting someone else for help.

This class drags on. She takes attendance as a grade, but every single class we did the same thing. She puts you in groups and you have a class discussion about that chapter. She's a very nice lady, but can be confusing at times. Her class is an easy A though and you only need the online book for this class also.

Had a great overview of the English language - many components. Looking at the difficult parts of English was cool especially when you think about someone learning it as a second language.

I took this class online, there were very few assignments worth little amount of points, so you can easily fail an assignment. Make sure you do all the discussions! The projects will mostly be essays. The projects are not hard, but very time consuming.

I took Mrs. Habib online. She is very sweet and caring. I enjoyed the class. There are several critical tasks that have to be submitted. They are somewhat difficult and time consuming. If you set a few days aside to work on them, you'll be fine. I got an A in the class. Communication through email can be hard. She is helpful when you call her.

I love Professor Habib. She is an amazing teacher. Very helpful if you need any assistance. She really cares about all students and has a great command for the subject she teaches. Would love to take more of her classes.

Dr. Habib was a great professor. My only complaint is that sometimes, when I e-mailed her- she did not seem to understand my question, therefore some of her responses were not helpful. She has six portfolio components, and some are harder than others. The final exam was very tough! Over all, a great professor.

One of the worst teachers I have had thus far. Does not help you at all. Does not provide any sort of structure. I felt like I did not learn ANYTHING. I made a 100 percent on EVERY assignment and I just made things up. Literally. I do not pay over $600 dollars a class to not learn anything. She probably did not even read my work. Waste of my time.

This was the easiest class ever. I got a 100% in the class and barely had to try. Most of it is discussions and the essays you have to write are easy As if you just follow the simple directions.

Comment:

She was among my favorite teachers from college. Her class can be difficult, but that comes with the material. Being a current ESOL teacher I can affirm that what she teaches is useful. This is especially true with the class activities.

I had her online and she seemed really nice and helpful. Plan on doing a lot of work and start on the portfolio EARLY. Be ready for the final to be a 3 hour 4 question essay test that is pretty hard core. If you do the work and put in the time, you will do great.

Dr. Habib is a very nice lady. She is the quickest person I have had at this university with grades. However the assignments and reading are a bit tedious for the summer months. I can read a textbook by myself with out paying 400 some odd dollars for you tell me to do so. Just beware the reading in this class is long and sooooooooo boring!
