Comment:

He is one of the best math professors I have ever had! He explains everything very thoroughly. What puts him above and beyond is his willingness to work with his students to help them succeed. He is quick to respond to questions and he is willing to give extensions if you just talk to him. He gives wonderful feedback on quizzes and tests as well.

Comment:

Had Professor Trippett for MTH110. Amazing teacher, the work is fair and he makes it so that just about anyone can learn math in his class. My only real problem with the class is that sometimes he would break things down a little too much, but that may be a benefit for some students who have a harder time with math.

He was nice, but didnt really like how he laid out his lectures, and does not really cover material well, expecting you to understand it.

Comment:

One of my worst professor experiences so far. Gets distracted very easily and when you ask questions or don't know the correct answer, responses are very rude. Does not go into depth and expects you to understand what is being taught right off the bat.

Comment:

While there is many papers, I would go to him after class and try to better understand the work. I passed his class with a b+ and I actually understood what I was doing which is a never. He is one of the best professors at SC4. More than glad I took his class.

I did not give my best effort but he would always help me if I needed it. His lectures were interesting and we were allowed a piece of paper front and back with any examples and formulas we needed on all tests and quizzes, even the final exam.

I was recommended from another student to take his class and I sure am glad he did. Although it was all refresher, I was still able to ask questions after class about certain problems. I plan on taking his MTH-113 next semester too!

I would definitely take one of his math classes again. I usually dont prefer math but he taught the concepts in a way that was easy to understand and overall enjoyable. The class was very test heavy (which I preferred) but he gave great study guides and was there to help with any questions that I had. Very knowledgeable and passionate about math!

For a class that's only an hour and 15 minutes, he treats it as such. He doesn't go very far in depth and he expects you to know things from classes you haven't taken yet. He is nice and helpful outside of class, but in class he mostly just does homework problems. Interesting material, but make sure you read the book to get all the information.

The class is just lecture and going over homework/quizzes etc. Take good notes and follow along as best as you can with what he does on the board. You get a full sheet of notes for the test. Do all the homework and put in a little time to study and the class shouldn't be too hard.

The class was pretty simple, I got distracted easily. I was also taking AP Calculus at the time so I knew a lot of what we learned but I knew the easier way of doing it. Overall. he was a good teacher and occasionally cracked some jokes.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Sometimes he gets a little jumbled during the notes and skips around a bit, so make sure you really pay attention, gives a lot of quizzes, but they are really short. Is really willing to help students and makes sure they are aware of tutoring options and extra credit opportunities o campus.

He was extremely rude to me on numerous occasions for no apparent reason. I received and A and always had my work in on time. He has a strong passion for what he does but he should not be a teacher. He teaches the material in a confusing manner and has a rotten personality.

I thought Professor Trippett did a great job of being clear and thorough in his lectures. He is also very nice, helpful, and approachable. I don't think anyone could make Calc 2 any easier or more approachable than he did.
