I would give him a zero if i could. He seems like he wants to see you fail, he takes pride in his tests being very difficult. Do not take him if you need the credit. I had to work very very hard just to pass the class.

Comment:

Literally the WORST professor I have had. He does not care about his students in any way at all, it seems like he wants to set up everyone to fail this class. Especially during this pandemic, he has not been supportive to his students in any way at all. If you are taking this class especially when classes are still online, do NOT take his class.

It's super difficult to even pass this class nonetheless ace it. He grades really difficultly and your grade depends on quizzes and midterms so you can't screw up any. He takes attendance every day, so it's mandatory to come, and he makes you come outside class hours for certain assignments too which I disliked. TAKE IT PASS OR NO PASS!

I did really well in his class. It was not easy but i do believe he is a great professor. He wants you to really understand what he is teaching not just memorize. If you spend time to learn you will never forget what he taught you. If you don't have a good background in math you will have a harder time and need to review topics you are unfamiliar.

He sets up every one to fail and does not care about the student that cannot learn his complicated way of teaching. He thinks everyone wants to cheat and as for ID when taking exams, does not accepted student ID's.

This class is absolutely rediculous. Dont bother taking him because he expects u to know everything. I did all the hw and still struggle because the quiz and midterms are not a like the test at all. When u ask him about a problem hell respond: its in your hw with out evn teaching it.

He has a lot of home work that you have to study by yourself, and has his own way to teach. If you want to take an easy A class, this is not the one for you.

he is one of the hardest professors in DeAnza and foothill. 8 quizzes(240points), 3 midterms(450 points) 1 final ( 300points). Only drop one quiz and doesn't give any extra credit. He expects you to spend 2-3 hours a day to practicemath. quizzes and midterms are pretty hard and he doesn't give you much time. Unless you're good at math,dont takehim!

He is an excellent teacher and only those who truly understand every exception in math integrations and stuff will enjoy and pass. For the most regular, hard-working students he's not the one who rewards you with grades. Half the people dropped his class!!! you've been warned!!!

Lo is an excellent instructor. I took his summer 2A class, and although the pace was pretty fast, I never felt overwhelmed. He is a clear and concise lecturer and as long as you are doing the homework, the exams should be no problem. If you want to really learn diff. eqns, take this guy. Highly recommended!!

He is the best math teacher I have had. His lecture is clear and he proves thoroughly every formula. He never gives students hard time. If you follow his notes and do all the homework ( very good practice), you are easily to get A. He is very helpful. Now he is teaching in DeAnza.Strongly recommend.

I am very surprised to hear that everyone has a hard time on Bert's class. His lecture is clear, tests are fairly easy if you have simply done your H.W. Bert is hard? Come to De Anza and challenge Mosh and Petersons' Math courses, and you will find yourself living in hell!

Clearest math teacher I've ever had. If you study hard and do all the homework, you'll do fine. Tests are not bad, final was more difficult.
