Comment:

Professor Fenig is a great professor; Shes clear about what she wants and how shes grading you. Theres one in class writing assignment, a research paper, a final, and several short responses that you would do at home and then she'd grade as credit not an actual graded assignment. its an easy A as long as you listen and do exactly what she says.

Loved her !! Wish I took her for ENG101. Her work is fun to do. The work isnt hard but it also isnt easy. She tries her best to help and teaches really good. Her classes are fun and interesting .

Took her for the winter session; The work itself is not hard, she makes everything difficult. When you ask her for help, she's reluctant and all she'll tell you is to go to the writing center. She always goes off on the ESL students, putting them in the spotlight even if they ask even a simple question. Save yourself some time, don't take her.

If you want an English class where you can actually learn then you should take her class. She's sweet, funny, witty, and poetic and all around a great professor. I've had her twice now and wish I could take her a third time. She reteaches the basics and makes sure you work on it until you get it. Truly just wants to see her students succeed.

She also works at Queens College, so that's where I took her class. She is such a kind and intelligent professor. She really wants you to do well, and works with you to actually improve your writing. Not a difficult class at all, but that does not mean that you aren't learning and challenging yourself. I would definitely take her again.

She was a really helpful professor. She makes sure she reviews your work, helps you with your grammar until you have a perfect paper. She's a fair grader. Just make sure you always come to class and you'll pass easily.

She gives homework, although not a lot. She's a fair but tough grader, gives good feedback and tries to help as much as she can. Goes over something until its clear to the whole class and went back to basics to improve classes grammar and writing skills. Great prof. She also shows films from time to time. Attendance is a must and don't be late

I just finished my winter class with her, first I wont recommended anyone to take this class during winter if writing is not your subject , its a lot work from one day to another, the class itself is not difficult but she made it difficult, also She is very discourage with ESL student which I don't rec her to ESL student during winter section.

Prof. Fenig is by far the best professor I've ever had! She's so considerate and caring. She cares for her students and she will do anything to help you achieve a good grade! It's not an easy class, but you get to learn a lot. Thank you Prof. Fenig.

After coming out of Ap English in high school, this class was honestly a walk in the park. I felt as if I was in 2nd grade with how easy her work and assignments were, which I really didn't like and would've never expected coming from a college level class. If you want an easy english class, this would be your best bet.

Shes an alright professor really explains all there is to learn with clarity. she can be a bit too aggressive when it comes to feminism and equal rights, mudslings at males and stereotypes too often.

Very nice professor. Tells you EXACTLY what she wants from you. Very helpful as well. Not into lit. but w/ her class I learned a lot. Her class wasn't even that hard & I took her in winter session. Said she doesn't give As easily but I got one with work I really put effort into and little class participation.

Can you say Neurotic, and a bit Psychotic? I love writing but because of this professor- I may regret ever taking a English course again. She gave students such a hard time, to the point where some were just walking out of the class in the middle of a lesson. She made strange comments, body gestures, and often looked like she was high.

This woman drove me insane. She made me re-write one paper 4 times. And others at least 2 times. She expects you to write in a certain format, which basically she wants you to write like she would. Which is impossible because everyone has their own writing style. Her class bored me to death. But we did get to watch some old movies
