So great! Gives technical definitions and then breaks them down into understandable terms. Class followed a predictable schedule with hw due Monday, quizzes on Tuesday, and group assignment to be completed in class on Friday. After test is lots of people missed a certain question hed make the quiz on that material for a chance to earn back the pts

Brody is the best professor I have ever had. He makes it extremely clear how to succeed in his class, his lectures are great, and if you ever have any trouble with anything, he is extremely helpful outside class as well. Very nice, funny professor, and while your grade isn't handed to you, it is not a ridiculous amount of work. I learned so much.

Brody is one of the best math professors I've had. He explains the content very well and when you don't understand he will try make it easier. He is even better in office hours. When you go to him he goes over what you don't know in a more simpler way. He gives somewhat hard homework, but just go to office hours. Also the tests is similar to HW.

Dr Johnson's lectures are really clear. He assigns a decent amount of homework, which is challenging to solve. His exams are sometimes easy, but time consuming. He can also make the exams really difficult.

Great professor. Bases tests on how well the students understand the material and is always willing to help. Lectures are dry but he is always cracking jokes. Tests a a bit difficult but if the class as a whole got a bad average, he will curve a good amount! Must take Brody!

Really tough class (PDE), fair grader, and extremely helpful - this is one of the best math teachers I've had. Open through email, generous office hours, and works at your level once you're there.

Brody Johnson is one of the best math professors I have ever had and probably will be one of the best I will ever have. He is passionate about the subject and truly wants to see his students succeed. Given that Calculus 2 is difficult, don't expect an easy A. His office hours are super helpful and lectures are a must go to.

He is a very good professor. Use examples to illustrate concepts and theories. He usually gives extra credits base on the average grade of tests. The test problems are similar to the homework problems and if you understand homework and you will have very good grade for the tests. I had an A.

Brody is my favorite professor at SLU, I had him this semester for Differential Equations and would not have wanted any other professor. He communicates the material very well, knows what he is talking about, and is very understanding. If you are taking differential equations soon, TAKE BRODY! He may not be the easiest, but he sure is the best.

Brody is really a great teacher. He is personable and funny and makes class interesting. That being said, his class is very difficult. If you are looking for an easy A, look elsewhere. His homework and tests are tough but if you need help he's always available.

Brody is super helpful and will explain things very thoroughly if you ask for help. He makes jokes and keeps the class interesting. He gives hints for every homework which it makes it much easier. The tests are much easier than the homework and some of the tests have take home components.

Difficult class, and difficult tests. Not too easy, but he is an incredible teacher. He knows how to teach the class, and how to keep them interested. Goes by first name basis and personalizes with the class alot. Spends the first 15 minutes explaining the concept of that day, and the rest of the class time running examples. Very effective.

Phenomenal professor. Crystal clear lectures, extremely helpful, helps students but not too much. Has engineering degrees in addition to mathematics degrees, and so has a deep understanding of both theory and application. That's a powerful combinations, although not one you see every day. Nice guy, too. Highly recommended.

My favorite teacher by far. He's young and has lots of fun with the class. He does a great job of providing practical applications to the material, so it made it much more interesting than most math classes.

Material is difficult. But he explains it very well and is always supportive and helpful. Very fun and easygoing, talks a lot about the Cardinals, and likes to go by a first-name basis (call him Brody). Tests can be difficult, but he tries to schedule them at random times as to not couple them with other tests. Teaches extra material.

He is not easy and the final brought me down a whole letter grade. But he is super nice and funny and helpful. He is very approachable in office hours and even took time to talk to me about an eating disorder I had while taking his class. He nominated me for the Calculus award. He is my advisor for my Math minor. I highly recommend him.
