Comment:

Cathie is one of the best chemistry teachers who truly cares about her students. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her subject. She shows plenty of example problems to clarify the material for students. Her exam reviews are very very helpful. I would recommend her to everyone.

pass this class without coming to lectures, doing the lab right, and study from her previous tests. if you are going to take her, it is best to know someone who took her class and ask for their tests :) that way, you don't have to study alot and get an A :) still, i have to say that she is not recommended.

Extremely difficult class if you don't go to SI or if Chem doesn't come to you naturally. Keenan is an atrocious teacher, lecture consists of her droning on about non sense and her notes have no organization so you can't use them to study. Avoid her if you can.

Chem22 is a tough class. Lot of work(lab, research paper, si project etc..) Very helpful if visiting her during office hour. It's not impossible to get at least a B with all the xtra credit, redo math part on the test & get back half of the credit, 75% for a B and 85% for an A. You'll learn a lot by doing her old tests. I do recommender her.

Most people will assume everyone who comments here will be biased because they were given a bad grade but the truth is that Keenan is terrible. Tests are SUPER hard, they are application based so doing the HW is useless, and the old tests don't help much either. You have to know chemistry INSIDE OUT to get an A in this class.

Dont be fooled! Just because she has a DR. before her name dont mean nothing. Very strange Prof. Goes on talking forever.. without making sense! Does not offer extra help and is very unorganized! Bad choice if you want to learn and pass

Doesn't respond back to email. poor chairman. you can cheat on lab quiz using unlocked cabinet next to computer lab. Students in lab time unorganized. you can cheat in lab quiz and they will let it go. lab seriously useless, if cheating off copied labwork. teachers are not seriously helpful. they just surf the net during lab time. dont care.

Keenan is a very nice lady and ridiculously smart, but unfortunately that doesn't translate into good teaching. She doesn't engage you in the lecture and just talks for 90 straight minutes and confuses you. It's pretty much all on you to self-study this class otherwise you'll probably fail.

this class is easy for those interested in the subject...the lectures can be boring but a few things she talks about are on the test so do not fall asleep. look up the test on eres the test are very similar and get help if needed at the si sessions....and you will do just fine.

EASY CLASS! you'll die of bordum during the lectures, but she's an easy A. Collects everything at the end of the semester, so dont slack off. Before taking a test, look up her previous tests on e-res (they're almost exactly the same)

Her lectures are alright but the SI session helps more and teaches better. Projects are easy and the test are easy if you focus on the previous test given. Hw is easy as well. She's a good prof. cuz if you got problems or don't understand something, she'll help you out to pass the class.

Difficult class, but she gives extra credit and a VERY generous curve. Lectures tend to deviate, but keep up with the homework and you'll be fine. If you're having problems understanding something, just visit her office or during her lab hours and she'll help to clarify. Studying her old tests is a must, they make the exams much easier.

EXTREMELY NICE TEACHER. She is really understanding when it comes to personal crisis'. Really really kind and will understand you when life gets hard. Visit her often in her office hours. Lectures not quite worth attending, but do attend at times to get updates on important dates and changes. Gives old exams out which is extremely helpful!

Knows her stuff. Available to help 12 hours a day. Sometimes lectures get monotonous but that is more when she thinks the class is not listening. She likes participation. ASK QUESTIONS. Be an active listener and note taker. Even with modest effort you should do well in any of her classes. Chem 10 is best taken in the summer as it is fairly easy.

her class is boring and you probably wont understand anything in class. but attend SI sessions, those help alot! alot of extra credit & you don't even have to attend class, just make sure you sign in later. very possible to get at least a B in lab and class.
