Take it easy guy. It's the first week of his online course and he's already screamed at all of us in the form of a discussion thread whining about how we haven't posted much. Hey there guy, it's an online course and we still have a week before due date. Take a chill pill. You realize people take online courses cause they have busy lives right?

Comment:

Took him for Ethics class, was the best decision of my life! When I say the class is challenging, I mean it as he makes you challenge yourself. Yes we had to write papers, etc., but overall, the class was legitimately fun. Be prepared to talk! Be prepared to do discussion board! Be prepared to love the class!

he's a very good philosophy teacher. he recognizes that philosophy is not anyone's major, so he's very laid back. he's really funny and knows how to keep you interested. you watch two or three movies in his class. all of his exams are take home, so you're guaranteed an A on them as long as you quote stuff from the book and make sense.

Dr. Zani's lectures are always educational & almost always hilarious. You'll think & work, but probably also have a blast. He may pick on you in good-nature, but will crack as many/more jokes at his own expense. Participation grade is a big factor in his classes, but expectations are very fair & explicit from day one.

Absolutely halarious. Will work with anyone on papers. Definitly a realist. Knows his stuff. Tough on papers but provides enough criticism to help in the future. Would and have recomended him to everyone.

The cult of Zani is the only cult worth being in. Really, he's the coolest, most laid back man ever, but he's still going to teach you. You do have to read, like you should have to in any English class, but his assignments are always interesting and unique. A good bet for any one who likes to look at the odd things in life.

Always walks into class with a chip on his shoulder. Rambles in lectures and speaks ill of students quite often. For tests, he says one thing then does another. Extremely hard grading essays even when you have shown a grasp of the readings. Would not recommend taking him.

Zani is a lot of fun. Can get pissy sometimes, but generally just funny. He goes off on tangents, but they're usually entertaining. Tests are essay and he grades fairly. Always available to talk to if you need help. Overall great professor.

One of the best teachers I've had. Keeps things interesting, etc. He's one of "those" teachers - you know the drill, just show up, laugh a bit, read some of the books he assigns (generally awesome ones), and then just toss off some moderately well-written essays for the A.

Simply the best teacher I've had. Ever. He inspired interest while allowing for a laid-back learning environment... I learned more from the random class discussions in that room than from any other english class. Very nice reading selections, but some might say he's "lacking in professionalism". Others (like me) don't care about such labels.

Zani is the best teacher I ever had. He made a english class I hate interesting. I would take him over any other teacher and wished all the other teachers were like him. It has to be hard to be as great of a teacher as this guy. He has a great amount of knowledge in Literature. Not a easy A but the work causes you to learn.
