Mrs. Mullin is a very unorganized lady. She has only given back like 3 of our labs, and that was during the end of the semester. Still havent received the grade received in class. Does not put anything on canvas. Makes the material more complicated than it has to be

Professor Mullin cares about her students, but she takes FOREVER to grade things. It's the end of the semester and I have no idea what my grade is. She didn't put them in Canvas either. She explains the lab but glosses over the math. If you know what you're doing it's an easy A or B.

If you like to know where you stand in the class, do not take her. Going into my last lab and I have no clue what I have in the class. If you ask her, she will say "well so far you've gotten a few labs back, so that's what you have." 1 lab left, and I have to base my grade off of the 2 reports she's given back! Crazy. But she's nice.

Dr. Mullin is INCREDIBLY unorganized. We got a total of 3 lab reports back during the course of the semester, and then she offered to give the rest back a full three-four weeks after the class was officially over. Additionally, she was at least 5-15 minutes late every class, and gave pointless 30 minute long lectures. Nice lady, but boring as heck.

Dr. Mullin is a really nice professor, and she's pretty helpful if you have a question while doing the lab. Her grading criteria are clear, but sometimes she can be a bit nit picky, so you have to make sure to do everything as correctly as possible. There were a couple of extra credit opportunities so take advantage of those.

Comment:
Her instructions are confusing and, as one reviewer said, no one tends to know what to do. It feels nearly impossible to get a 100 on most lab reports. There are many stipulations that seem to be only implied, and it's possible that a clearer rubric for the assignments is necessary. Be prepared to question every minute detail for a good grade.

I had her for ChemLab I and am having her this sem. for ChemLab 2. I like Dr. Mullin because she grades your report fairly enough that even though you do poorly on your reports, you will pass the course no matter what. Read the lab procedure before coming to class. Her Pre-lab quizzes are usually easy. You just have to pay attention and will get As

Obviously, attendance is mandatory. You have to go or YOU WILL FAIL. She explains everything before lab and there is a quiz everyday. Read the notes and you'll do fine. She likes to talk and she is an interesting person. I liked her. She is easy to understand and accepts late work. Take her if you get the chance. She will make the labs easy.

Had Mrs. Mullin for CHM II lab. Her class was long and boring. I had the summer session so it was horrible. The procedures in lab were sometimes unclear. She grades fairly though. Make sure you know what you are doing though. The pre lab quizzes can be tricky so make sure to read your lab procedure thoroughly before coming to class.

Good lab instructor. Pay attention. She will review your work prior to due date and is helpful. Wants you to pass but you do have to care enough to do your homework. She expects you to read the day's lab BEFORE class and lectures accordingly. In general, chem 1 lab is a breeze.

Chem I Lab over the summer.unorganized, takes forever to return labs, and after she would get done lecturing, i was totally lost.on one lab, my partner got a 5 out of 4 instead of 4 out of 4. every time i asked for help i felt like i was bothering her. i made a B+, but you spend way more time on the labs than the actualy class.

Nice lady, very scattered and unorganized. The lab wasn't difficult, but she made things more complicated than they had to be. She was very late returning our papers, we didn't get the first lab report back until 3 weeks into the semester.

Dr. Mullins will expect you to know your stuff for each lab to be completed. Since most students slack off and only learn Chemistry the day before a test, most students can't keep up with her expectations. If you pay attention in the lectures, follow instructions, and be on time, you'll get you A.
