Professor Dinh is a very nice, tests are somewhat easy. Even though he gives a lot of homework, they are very easy to complete.

He is one of most amazing professors in Ohlone College. He care the most for his students. He tried his best that his student learn from him . If u dont understand ask him he will explain you very well . I loved his class . Thank prof. Being such as amazing prof to us

When you analyze his teaching style: doesn't summarize author's method's and just makes up stuff. He should let the students do the problem sets on the boards. Disorganized, has poor planning skills and time management skills. Doesn't know how to schedule anything. Basically, you have to self-teach. Problem sets are too duplciated inefficent.

His lectures are extremely unorganized. The lessons are unclear you have to reteach yourself every lesson and he squeezes 4 sections into 1 class! I highly recommend you dont take any of his classes

Do not take him he uses a lot of ambiguity and leaves a lot of grey areas in the materials. Assigns way too much homework. The online courses have a lot of functionality issues with graphs and stuff. Plus, when you do an online problem and get it wrong it changes a totally different problem. So yeah don't take him

A majority of the people who took this class dropped because he is not good at teaching algebra 2. The tests are extremely hard and confusing. Also does not even provide a study guide.

Holy Gosh, he always askes unnecessary question while lecturing. He is quite rude by cutting off conversation and sometimes he brings up irrelevant topics that wastes our time a lot. W for this class and never take it again :(.

He assigned way too much hw making it hard to study for tests/his tests r hard with problems that were never covered in class/has a staring problem too and racist Got the vibe he wanted to fail me and he's super boring good luck trying to stay awake in his class. Literally get any other prof but him theres a reason why his ratings r so low

He is very confusing to understand and his tests are hard Also quite rude and discouraging to students. He never gave us any practice tests and has a very monotone voice. almost everyone ended up dropping his class bcuz he sucks. Horrible professor

If you get pearson mml you dont need the textbook since it is included in the order (online book). Exams are literally the homework questions with different numbers. Do your homework and ask questions if you have any (not just on the day of the test!!). He might make you feel dumb depending on your question, but know it's nothing personal.

He's not clear at all! You can't understand what he is trying to say. He cuts you off while asking questions!. Unnecessary topics are brought in the beginning of the class and then he rushes at the end complete the exercises and gives tons of homework to do in a VERY short period of time. He doesn't understand students and is unwilling to do so too

Make sure you have PRIOR KNOWLEDGE before going into this class. If you are rusty on math or taking other hard classes this is not for you. Tests r easy homework is really long. I felt overloaded its about 1300 problems. I wouldn't recommend if you have 3-4 classses. Only if you have two. He is low rated for a reason. Take a 4/5 professor.

He is not clear at all! Student's usually fall asleep during his lecture. Very tedious schedule, he wastes time in the beginning and rushes with the academical material as the class comes to an end. Tons and tons of homework is given in a very short span of time. He doesn't have mutual understanding with students.

Grade deflating influence. Doesn't give enough time to finish tests or quizzes. Very tedious homework with short deadlines. Online homework is different from book because they have radically different steps( he hasn't figured this out, which makes him stupid). Online hw not congruent with book in some sections. Locks up your hw makes u cram it.

His instruction is very poor quality. He teaches with ambiguity, vagueness, and disorganization. His course was slapped together. It gets harder end at of semester. Expect to spend 1-3 hours each night un-confusing yourself because of him and 2-3 hours doing homework and a lot of time reviewing . Teaches from multiple sources.

Don't take Dinh unless he's your last choice. He tells everyone to asks questions but interrupts you before you even get half way through. Even if you get the right answer on his tests, he'll mark you off points if you don't do it the way he wants. The best part of the class is that you can sleep and text and he won't care.
