Great professor. He really loves what he teaches, and finds a way to make all literature understandable and easy. You don't have to take the final if you have perfect attendance!

Pretto is great! take his class for a easy A. just make sure you read all the poems because he has quizzes (gives partial credit). Midterm and final EASY. only 1 paper that 3-6. class is boring, use it to study for other classes, but def take this class if you want no homework and do nothing in his class.

BEST PROFFESSOR EVER. I loved his class. He made literature and poetry so interesting and I didn't think that was possible. Go to every class no matter what and he gives a big reward at the end. Only had to write two 1 page papers and a 3-6 page paper. I easily made an A. I love this guy. I wish he taught more classes.

Pretto is a crazy kind of guy but at least can relate to college students. It seems like hes on something every class, but he's still a pretty good teacher with alot of interesting things to say. He does tend to ramble on alot but he tries to make his class easy at least and talks about some good stories. Prob the best teach for lit at UWF.

I loved this class! He is so great at teaching. You won't want to miss class because he is so interesting. The minute you see him you think "he looks like a new age lit teacher." I wish he taught psychology.

Great teacher! Gets off subject sometimes with weird stories, but they are interesting. He really wants students to do well in his class. If you need help, just ask.

The best english teacher at UWF hands down. I've had to drop lit 2 times previous to taking Mr. Pretto. He kept the class very interesting compared to others. He grading is very fair. Just GO TO CLASS!!! and you will do a great job and you will be happy at the end if you attended every class :)

Mr. Pretto keeps it real but really gave us a "Clevelend Steamer" for our final exam. I felt like Dirty Sanchez at the Alamo. My advice - study hard, attend every class, and pretend you're really into every fruity poem he reads!

Mr. Pretto is a cool guy. In his class each section(exams, attendance, quizzes, essays) is worth 10% of your grade. So this makes it very easy to pass this class. You can skip both exams and still get a 90! Very easy. Go to class, read the short assignments before class and you'll get an "A"

Mr. Pretto is a great teacher. He stresses his points, but it's for a good reason. The tests are easy if you have a good memory. Just go to every class and you pretty much won't hardly have to study for the finals because he covers things so well in class. You have a weekly quiz on the reading and a one-page reaction paper. I recommend him :)

Had him for intro to lit. Good teacher and a nice guy, but the class is extremely boring. Sit in the back and use the class period as time to catch up on other homework.

Filing the fasfa every year is harder than this class. You will learn nothing new. Most stories were covered in High School lit. The class is very easy yet boring. He patronizes the students by talking about basic English things such as plots and points of view.

Sometimes interesting, sometimes boring. Several stories were cool, and several dragged on for what seemed like hours. Be sure to read before the quizzes, you can not answer the questions if you didn't read the entire story. The exam requires a lot of memorization (author, line from story, and significance) but it's a breeze to get 100 if you study
