Comment:

Schrager is awesome. Yes, he is abrasive. Yes, he does pick on kids. But he's hilarious and he does it not to be an ass, but to connect the course material to real life. He's also a full-time lawyer so he has a TON of real-life anecdotes that relate to class. Unfortunately for future students, this was his last semester as he is now retiring.

Comment:

Schrager is a really interesting teacher that you will either love or hate. I personally think he's hilarious and really keeps me interested in the material. BLAW is a dry topic... But he's constantly picking on people, giving real life examples, and the guy even offers to take you to dinner to network / get to know him. One of my favorite classes!

Great professor! Gets everyone involved in lecture. Uses amusing examples to explain topics. Gives considerable extra credit for attending class often. Exams are sufficiently challenging but not impossible to do well in. He may seem a little intrusive when he calls on students, but he doesn't expect you to know everything, so give honest answers.

Good Professor. Is super abrasive during class, but you get used to it and it become amusing. READ BEFORE CLASS, because he will call you out to answer random questions. Interesting topics and he has good examples for each. Exam are TRICKY, so know your stuff inside and out.

Covers A LOT of material, only adresses about 50% of it in class. Teaches well, but exam contains a lot of material that must be taken from the text. BE PREPARED FOR CLASSES!!

This guy doesn't teach the material. He uses the classroom as a means to forward his liberal agenda. Plus he's a complete **** to students, crushing their hopes and dreams. Doesn't foster learning.

I liked him enough to take the class twice. He's really a nice guy even though he could come off as a jerk. He'll usually take the class out for lunch before the exam. He knows his stuff and you can tell he enjoys teaching.

Such a good professor...even at 8am! The best class I've taken at UCONN.
