This man /knows/ what he's talking about, so don't be surprised if he starts talking like you know it too. You need to learn a ridiculous amount of names and obscure things, but the lectures are really interesting and he's the kind of person that you would want to hang out with. He uses every minute of the class period too. Take a lot of notes.

this class is extremely boring. he is very bland. I really did not like this class. but the tests are easy and the essays are easy too. There are 2 tests, 2 essays and a final take home question. you have to come to class, attendance is apart of your grade.

This course was very difficult. The tests are extremely hard. Your only saving grace will be the papers, although those are no slice of cake either. You have to study extremely hard and not be easily confused by long, confusing words. He expects you to know details. I would NOT recommend anyone take this course.

He's usually an easy grader when it comes to papers, as long as you include a lot of information and use good resources. However, study EXTRA hard for his tests. He's really specific about dates too so make sure when you mention something during the test to say what time period it's from!

Dr. Pullen isa great professor. He is pretty blunt. Some of the things says are ridiculous. I usually leave class laughing. I thought it was an extremely easy class. He is helpful & understanding. Definitely recommended. & he's cute!

I loved the class, but not the TA's who graded the papers and exams. I felt like nothing I did could get me to an A. I went to office hours to talk over my paper and the girl said it was good, then I got it back and I got an 78. The class is interesting and u learn a lot. Dr. Pullen is a great teacher!

He is very interested in his subject and actually makes you pretty interested as well. I took this class on accident but it has definetly taught me something new. He lectures well but the papers are long and the tests are very detailed

I hated Dr. Pullen's class! The material was interesting but he covered way too much in too short a period of time plus he expected you to know minute details for exams (especially things he mentioned for like 30 seconds in class and that were not in the book!) He made the class much more difficult than it had to be.

He is very passionate and doesn't take crap from anyone. I LOVE his teaching style, his mannerisms and the way he points out the one track mindedness of college students today. His style of teaching is not too hard but you have fun learning it (even though it IS a sexuality class). If you can't take blunt, don't take his class.

I love Dr. Pullen, been talking more classes with him since freshmen year. Very hard if you are a slacker, but if you pay attention and participate very helpful. Grades fairly and does not pick favs, nor is afarid to speak his mind during class. A really great teacher that knows his stuff.
