Klucas is very knowledgeable & genuinely wants his students to succeed, his slides are online after lectures & he provides study guides. If you pay attention, read the book, etc you should get an A. We watched a lot of movies in this class to SEE what Spanish culture & civ. is like. Loved it! I'd take his classes in a heartbeat! He DOES take role.

Super sweet guy. Very knowledgeable and passionate about Spanish. I learned SO much from him. I worked my butt off trying to get that A, but it was worth it. I UNDERSTAND the rules of Spanish grammar now :-) Excellent personality.

Professor Klucas is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable in the subject matter. Although he is overall helpful too all students, I feel that he sometimes aims his lectures only to native speakers. Nevertheless, his exams are all fair and an easy class overall.

Very nice man, the class was extremely easy! Although I would encourage him to be more challenging to some students, especially those that are not fluent in Spanish! Other than that everything was ok!

Professor is very knowledgeable, friendly and articulate. Tests are almost too easy to be true. My only complaint is that he gets off track and talks about Portuguese randomly. Other than that, a pretty decent teacher.

3 quizzes on accents, 3 grammar exams (final is not comprehensive), 3 short essays, 2-3 homework to turn in, but the rest of the homework is in the book (about $60)that you don't have to turn in. I missed the first quiz, didn't attend regularly, and hardly did the book work, and I got a B+. Imagine if I had tried! (But I grew up with Spanish.)

i took span 47 and 152 and was an easy "A". he IS kinda boring, but extremely nice. if u need help in any kind of way, ex: in another span class or with the g-exam he's the man to go to. Great teacher. knows his stuff and is probably a better teacher than most of the native spanish speaking teachers of this major.

A great and loving person. He's teaching style grows on you after a while. He cares for his students academic success--he's more than willing to meet with his students during and after his office hours. CSUS needs to hire more professors like him.

Klucas is extremely helpful even if he can get off track every now and then. Take any class from him and you will be glad that you did. Make sure to go to class every day if you can because he does take attendance. If you must miss class, keep it to a minimum.

Klucas is a teddybear. He gets off track once in a while and can make you feel like you are going to fall asleep, but he is a good teacher. The class is paced so that everyone should be able to understand him, whether you are just learning Spanish or not. He is very interested in having students pass the class and learn the material.

Klucas class is pretty easy just have to learn what he gives you on handouts. A plus is that the book you use in class is only 12 dolars. Klucas wants students to have fun during presentation so it makes it easy

CSUS is the place to come for boring Spanish profs. By far the most boring of all is Klucas. Talks way too slow and deliberate. Not the professor to acclimate you to real hispanic accents. I'm a white guy too, but I don't talk nearly as slowly or with such a dry accent. Very easy, but very boring. Too easy. Too boring.

I am completly retarded when it comes to foreign language and I'm talking beaten senseless with a board dumb. I mannaged to pass this class with an A because Klucas actually seemed to care about students passing. Plus all of his assignments were easy.
