Corral is a really nice guy. The class is so easy that it is sometimes difficult to want to be there. All we do is read a story every class and then translate it. The tests are super easy and there is just one really easy oral presentation that takes 5 mins to do for the semester. If you don't care about learning spanish take this class.

Good Teacher, great personality, was very helpful! I would encourage him that for the final, instead of doing a written report, it should be an oral presentation, since the two tests were written reports already. Other than that everything was okay!

This class was fun. I really enjoyed the class a lot of people wouldn't go to class didn't read and still got As, but I enjoyed being in class. Nice guy and if you don't understand all you have to do is ask him :) Excellent professor!! (+ easy)

I think his lectures were interesting and I really enjoyed the class. Attendance is not mandatory, but I recommend it because he explains the readings really well and that helps at the time of taking he tests, since they are essay questions. If your the type of person who doesn't like to read, just go to the lectures and you'll do fine.

Professor Corral is a good teacher. He expects his students to learn, so his class is not ridiculously easy, but he is very helpful and actually cares that his students understand the material. He is much more animated than some of the other Spanish professors, which is a plus, and he does not discriminate.

Professor Corral is very knowledgeable-- almost too much for us. He is a really decent guy in the old school sense-- so some people take him the wrong way. I think he is an excellent, but demanding prof. I've learned alot about modern Hispanic Literature with him!!!

He grades according to your "effort" (how much he wants to believe you are trying). Mario, classmate, smart got a bad grade because he spoke back to him when Corral got out of line. Be cautious! He will make rude jokes and expects you to laugh. It is a moral dilema because you know what he is saying is rude and wrong, but you will get a bad grade
