Most unorganized prof I ever had. Consistently extremely late (never showed on one occassion). Syllabus came the week of the mid-term, mid term was given 1 day late. Nice person- just in wrong profession. Grading made little sense. This was in 1996. Now that I'm back at OU I'm amazed to see her still here.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS CLASS! I took her Martin Luther King and Gandhi class. Although the readings were good, her class was a misery. She is very hypocritical and the most organized person I have ever met in my life. God only knows how she ever got her Phd.

I think that doc childs is great. she not your usual teacher. She asks you to think for yourself. if you call her unorganized that is you opinion. I think that she asks her students to take thier learning into their own hands. Call her crazy if you want. she inspired me to learn. no not for a grade, but because I wanted to. I recommend her.

Dr Childs is the worst teacher I have ever had. She is unorganized and forgetful. She didn't give out a syllabus till the 4th week of class. She is also extremely religious and preaches more than she teaches. I learned nothing from her. Do yourself a favor and skip any classes taught by Dr Childs.
