Basically, you get the textbook, read through it, then fail on his audio questions on canvas because they go by 30 miles an hour, then fail the detailed questions on how to manipulate the words the way he wants you to. Long story short - his class isn't about LEARNING russian, but more like "you should already know russian" when you take this class

This class was so hard. He gives you a chance to redo assignments but this class takes a lot of work. The tests are proctored and you have a lot of time to complete it. The final was really hard. Over half of our exam was listening, when normally our exams are only 25% listening. He doesnt give good feedback; I never knew what he wanted fixed

The class is extremely hard. There's a lot of work, but he gives you a chance to improve your grade on assignments if you submit your first try at least 24 hours before the due date. The tests have to be proctored on campus, which can be a bit annoying, but he gives good study guides for most of the tests, so they're not as bad as they could be.

Expect homework every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. He treats you like an idiot if you make a mistake on your assignments, so be sure to do every exercise and there shouldn't be a problem. However, if you email him he will always give a clear, helpful answer, and over email he's much less condescending than in his comments on submitted assignments

this guy is crazy. he talks about how he sees the world and thinks it is interesting. its not. he is funny to laugh at and not with but encourages people to become atheist pacifist with no morals. he gives lots of quizzes and you write 5 short essays with two long ones. it is a lot of work that if you then you will be fine but it is painful to go.

Rus Culture was pretty interesting. He's really liberal so if you can't deal with that don't take his class. I learned a lot, but it was definitely a weird class. I did not partcularly like him as a person. The class is not all that hard, though.

Pretty easy course, if you are willing to sit in class and listen to his liberal radical comments.personally would never choose to sit through is class again.He grades oddly on essays.Pretty much every class we got to hear how Hillary Clinton&Barack Obama are God's gift to earth (even though he's atheist) and that Nixon and Clinton= best presidents

Very good teacher. His personality doesn't suit everyone, but if you're willing to listen and be open to what he says, you can learn a lot from his class (about literature and about life). I would recommend taking this class. He lets you turn papers in a day early and returns them with corrections. I would definitely take this class again.

Strange man, but interesting. I now know a lot about his personal life...He is a fair grader, if you talk in class which i didnt he likes you a lot more. I got a B. Beware of the term papers..know exactly what he means by the topic and you will do fine. The 500 word essays were easy. I recommend him!

George's class is easy if do the work. His readings are not long. You will be assigned ten 500 work essays, but you only have to do 5. You can turn in all ten, and he will take your 5 best grades. He does not grade them hard. I think i avgeraged a 95 on them. Easy A if you do the easy work. Take him.

Geroge is a great college professor. Even though he is liberal, he respects other's opinions. He is always ready to help and his grading system makes it pretty simple to get a good grade. Russian is not an easy language, but with a little effort, it's manageable. DO THE HOMEWORK. It is a large part of your grade and usually pretty easy.

George is an awesome teacher and person even though he is a liberal. Before class he always has interesting discussions for the class to argue about with him. He's a very laid back and funny guy but be ready to work. He has a great computer set-up to help you learn but if you don't do the exercises you won't get anywhere in the class.

Easiest Great Books II teacher. Papers only have to be 350 minutes long, you can use notes on mid-term, and eventhough he is liberal, he is really interesting.
