Greg is honestly the best professor I've had in any college class by far. He gives excellent feedback, both good and bad, to help you improve. He's also just the kindess guy you will ever meet. I love his teaching method and loved his class! If you get the chance take him! He's amazing! I wish he could teach all my studio classes.

Had him for Painting I. Very two-faced.Very Critical.If you disagree or work differently than he does watch out. He made 3 of my classmates cry. Tore all of my work apart because he refused to listen to my concept.

It's best to be serious about art. Requires you to watch video demos outside of class, which is a pain, but tolerable because more work time in class. Know your vocab, and participate! Definitely pushes you and wants you to know your stuff, lots of creative freedom. Great professor, I learned a LOT. Attendance is highly suggested.

Greg is an awesome guy, and loves his job. Not going to lie, he pushes you and expects you to do your best. He's a very fair grader and doesn't expect you to be the next Monet, and he allows a lot of creative freedom. Very chill and doesn't lecture a lot.

Greg is a really cool guy. He is a good teacher but he doespush you and expect a lot from you. It is difficult to get an A in that class but definately not impossible. Overall I would recommend him as a drawing teacher. I know he made me a better drawer.

MUST GO TO CLASS!!! Had him for painting 1 and 2. Very knowledgable but if he doesn't like your style you'll always get a bad grade. Sometimes unclear about due-dates for projects . . . likes shading on everything, hates flat colors (so all my cartoons were an automatic F)

when he says's he's gonna push you, he means it! lots of still-lifing. don't get to doing anything creative till the very end of the course. mostly work with charcoal on big paper. (messy!! ug!) shows genuince concern for students progress and pushes you to do better. C means you did what was expected. you have to bust your butt to get an A.

Always there to help out and to answer questions. Very caring and concerned about his students! He taught at the same level as his students, never taught like he better or above them. Taught me a lot of things. Loved the class.
