Lectures are really fun, and the class exercises really helped me relax with public speaking. You'll definitely learn a lot about yourself. She's fair, engaging, and willing to work with you if you need help. Do what you're supposed to, and you'll pass easily.

Nice lady (if you are involved in class) but a very hard grader. I put in a lot of work to do well and even when I walked away from speeches feeling like I did good, she would still find things to take off for. Study hard for the quizzes/tests, do well on the outlines&pray you do well on the speeches because who knows what the criteria really is

Mrs. Kingkade is an absolute pleasure! By far one of the best professors I've ever had. She makes class very enjoyable and makes speaking in front of people as easy as possible. Tests are easy. She grades speeches slightly harshly, but gives clear feedback on what needs improvement. Would take her for every class if I could!!!

Mrs. Baldwin Kingkade was probably one of the best teachers I've ever had. She made everyone comfortable with speaking in front of each other. I was so sad that it was a 7 week course. She made coming to class fun and tried her hardest to relate and encourage us to get out of our shells. Definitely going to miss her class! Definitely recommend her.

I loved Ms Baldwin-Kingkade!! She was so great and her lectures and class exercises were really fun! She takes the nerves out of public speaking and overall the class was really easy! You will NOT need the book. She makes that clear the first day so don't waste your money on the Public speaking book.

HBK is my favorite professor at MTC. I much prefer her theater class but she made Public Speaking fun and easy. Always entertaining and just a good professor all around, I took all of her classes, wish there were more. -- Also, the book is not required in her PSC class, but is needed in theater...

she made life miserable for me. I honesty could never get along with her.I don't recommend to anyone based off my experience with her. You don't want this women. If your not good at note taking don't take her. the test consist of vocab she goes over in class and your homework and written review of a play. Don't miss class and don't use your phone

she is a great teacher and makes class fun. i hated speaking in front of people but now i don't mind it as much. just study the notes she gives you in class and you will do fine. turn your phone off in class, she will ask you to leave if it rings. but if her phone rings in class(which it has) just give her a hard time about it and ask her to leave

She is fun and exciting-and sincere about it...(especially for 9am) I am looking forward to theater if she is the teacher! I dreaded this class (SPC) but she has made it one of my favorites---study the notes she writes on the board and read the assigned pages, and follow her outline for speeches and you will do fine! she makes it easy for you!
