The only horrid experience I've had with a prof .. & I've taken courses across all 5 colleges. She has a good range of practical suggestions pertaining to her field. That said, when I teared a little in her office, she reported to the school, completely unwarranted. I then left her class - what she wanted. So much for being a social justice prof.

Jill is a wonderful teacher! When she speaks it sounds like a great piece of literature, she has a way with words that is delightful to hear. She is very open and encouraging. Outside of class she is fiercely dedicated to learning and sharing ideas. She gives a lot of herself to her class and is full of inspiring as well as provoking experiences.

Jill is the most enthusiastic teacher here. Very adept at bringing together a multitude of ideas and works, and exploring her own (and students) interaction with art and "real" life situations and responsibilities. Great, great, great.

omfg, best class I've ever taken. I plan on taking LFT2 in the spring next year. She's as close to "men's studies" as I've seen, and I wish she was here all year, just so I can go hang out with her for tea.

Jill is Amazing! She's helpful and incredibly enthusiastic. She also is good at listening to what the class wants to get out of the class, which sounds good on writing, but we ended up not doing what I would have, but I ended up loving it anyway.

I disagree wholeheartedly with the previous post. I ascertained a great deal of knowledge pertaining to gender studies and the AIDS pandemic vis-a-vis Living for Tomorrow. Jill is undoubtedly an exceptionally inspired and truly inspiring person.

living for tomorrow was one of the worst classes i have taken at hampshire. everything was disorganized, and i literally learned nothing. jill does seem nice though (never really spoke to her), and her class was really easy.

Jill is so enthusiastic! She's a great professor all around, and her classes are generally easy. "Living for Tomorrow", however, was a lot more focused on gender studies than I would have liked.
