Comment:
San is the worst proffesor to ever exist. He chose an obscure programming language for us to learn, simply because he was bored of teaching java (no employers will ever care about kotlin over java). He doesn't use a book, when he lectures he gives misinformation, and he overall cannot teach to save his life. Have fun with your independent study!

Comment:
English is San's third language. While he try's his best it's still hard to understand him. He is a very smart guy and cs is so just easy for him that he forgets that the students are here not capable of understanding one of his lecture slides in 10 seconds. He flies through lecture and expects you to understand everything. GO TO THE TUTORS.

San is a genius. He is one of the smartest profs in the MCS department, however he is not a great professor. He understands the material extremely well, however he isn't always clear when teaching. The material is trivial to him so he doesn't understand how you don't get it. Expect to go into his office hours often to get extra help.

Had him for MCS375, this is probably the hardest class for comp sci majors, San did an OK job for the first half of the semester but in the second half he just stopped assigning homework and we were screwed for the final. He's smart but sometimes doesn't know when people don't understand the material, which is very often. Easy grader though.

San is the kind of guy where you get what you put into it. Some students complain about the language barrier, but considering he is working with 6 languages that aren't his native, he is doing the best that he possibly can to communicate the level of knowledge he can. Do not underestimate him, I personally think he is a genius and an amazing prof.

He does want to help in any way possible, but sometimes he is unclear. Great guy though. Take a class with him before you leave, it's worth it!

Brilliant prof, but hard to understand. He knows his stuff, but often times doesn't explain things until he realizes no one knows what's going on. He really really wants people to understand stuff and he feels personally responsible if we don't. If you have him for 375, you'll get an A/B for sure.

This is San's first year at GAC, but he's adapting well. He can very hard to follow, at times I think his genius overrides his communication skills. All in all a good prof who can knows his stuff and is willing to help out in anyway possible.

He tries so hard. Lets all tell him honestly how he can help us. That's all he wants to do. He's good, smart, accommodating and needs just a little bit of guidance.

Very hard to follow. Makes a lot of mistakes. Very nice guy though. It's his first year, hopefully things will improve. Has got the most vicious head shaking I've ever seen. Thickest glasses too.
