Literally the worst professor I have ever taken in my entire life. I am a math minor (clearly good at math) and this man made me consider dropping it. Explains nothing, makes mistakes on every problem he tries to show. Will call you stupid to your face. Gives sample tests, but throws crazy stuff on actual test Gives 0 partial credit. STAY AWAY

DO. NOT. TAKE. THIS. CLASS. His exam averages are low. He has a thick accent and even worse handwriting. He teaches straight out of the text book but messes up almost every example in some way. Barely gives partial credit, and I know that for most of us, that is the only thing that saves our grades. Seriously do not take him. You WILL struggle.

Didn't explain things very well. Makes mistakes in examples nearly every lecture. Difficult to understand his accent at times. Horrible handwriting makes taking notes hard without stopping him to ask what he just wrote. Very little partial credit where you would expect. Actively avoid taking him unless it is your last resort.

I don't learn much in lectures as he frequently makes mistakes while doing examples and the lecture is pretty boring. The class isn't that difficult though as the practice test is normally very similar to the actual test. If you can teach yourself and review the practice tests you should be fine but don't expect to learn anything in class.

He really is a genuinely kind professor and I respected him. He is very clear and fair on policies. In regards to his teaching style, he usually taught the most superficial practice problems, and would still make mistakes, causing confusion. He likes to focus on concepts, but doesn't provide much partial credit either. Certainly a tough course.

He's super nice don't get me wrong, however a brick wall could teach calculus better than him. He knows his stuff, that's for sure, but he cannot communicate. He assigns homework in the book but it isn't helpful. Tests are just like sample tests he gives in class. Sounds like he just got off the boat. If you want to understand calc don't take him.

Nice guy, available in office hours and very knowledgeable. Does not go in depth about concepts, unfortunately, and teaches Calc more applied to engineering. The tests are really easy (just follow the sample tests from his webpage. Requires attendance, but this is college. Be professional and go to class ANYWAY, for god's sake!

Seems like a nice guy, but is not a very good teacher. his accent is very hard to understand, he makes mistakes on the board, his writing is very hard to decipher, and he requires you to attend or else lose a letter grade. either find a new teacher or be prepared to teach yourself when you are not wasting time attending his class

Easy class because the practice tests are very similar to the actual test and you get a cheat sheet. That being said, this is the worst teacher I have ever had. Class is getting painful to sit through.

Attendance is required, but reasons for going end there. He is a kind person, but has questionable English and even worse writing. He permits ZERO partial credit. Variables tend to disappear at random and the term 'arbitrary' is used for justification. 2s look like 7s, which adds to a litany of incomprehensible writing, to which he admits.

Great Teacher. Drops the lowest exam grade and between the practice exams that look exactly like the real exam and the cheat sheets he allows, the exams are easy enough.

this teacher is the worst teacher i have ever had. his handwriting is completely illegible and he speaks barely any english. he is unclear on what he tries to teach and oftem makes mistakes himself. he is not helpful and does not care if you pass or fail. do not take this teacher.

GREAT GUY. BAD TEACHER. His English is somewhat limited, so things don't always get explained well. He does NOT teach concepts effectively. He can go through a dozen problems on the board, and still you'll have no idea what you're trying to find by solving a problem. I had to teach myself all the material. I got an A, little thanks to him.

This guy is an absolutely terrible teacher. He cannot teach and basically just copies the book onto the board. If you take him have fun teaching yourself because you won't gain anything from the lectures. Yet, he forces you to go them by taking attendance.

The majority of this year's class seems to complain way too much about this teacher. I have to say forget them. This guy does examples right out of the book and teaches his subject with great knowledge. Emphasizes concepts over arithmetic skills which is highly appropriate for upper level math. Great guy, funny, and a great overall teacher!!!

This teacher is absolutely terrible. He takes attendance so you have to sit through lectures and you don't gain anything from them. I hope you like teaching yourself if you take this class. Sample tests and cheat sheets help but don't make this class a breeze.
